Re: The three marches lst being 1979, 2nd 1987 and 3rd 1993... I do not have the official program for 1979 but I do have the others. Plan on taking these things with me and hope some on the cruise might like to look at these treasures of mine. Have some rare photos of Judyd, Cris, Meg, Dianne, Billie and others. I spend time in the library so will take my binder with me in case anyone happens by and wants to enjoy them. I do have something (rare) in that binder on the 1979 first march. and YES...One Great President!

God bless the president and I love him. I remember back to the first gay march on Washington in 1979. The big issue was gays in the military and just letting the country know that we are coming out of the close and want to be treated fairly. I never envisioned a day when the president of the United States would state in an inaugural speech that gays and lesbians should be treated equally under the law. I had tears in my eyes.Great inauguration and I am so proud to be an American. And Beyonce rocked the national anthem.
