Hi,

I am also a solo, and do have a room mate, I had Olivia send her an email to introduce me and asked for her to contact me so we could get to know one another before....but I have not heard back from her. I am disappointed about this, I hope the week will be comfortable and not awkward.

Be careful as a solo!! I went with a solo friend on my first trip in 09.

I met the woman of my dreams on that cruise and are still together three years later.

We never would have met if not for Olivia.

So this is my 2nd Olivia trip and my first one I didn't know my roomate at all. She contacted Olivia and asked that she wanted to 'reach out to me' and connect before the trip so we talked on the phone just to sort of 'get to know each other'. Items that I really wanted to know was if she was an 'early riser' or out late. We really did respect each others space and actually got a long really really well. We still 'touch bases' and chat even though I am in California and she is in New Jersey.

We got along so well, that when I won a 2 for 1 trip we ended up splitting the trip and are going to PV.

Olivia does rock!

I don't have a room mate yet. does Olivia contact you when they find you someone to room with? also any tips on sharing a room with a woman who is a complete stranger.. though I guess after a week you have got to know each other a little better!

I am also 60 years old and this is my first trip going Solo. On my other trip I had so much fun that although I may be a little aprehensive, I am looking forward to the trip.

I was able to meet my roommate via E-mail. It has been great getting to know her. I can't wait until we can meet.

Don't be afraid, you are gonna have a ball. Do you have a roommate yet. Olivia will give your contact info to your roommate if you want. That way you can chat before you arrive. There are plenty of solo activities to break the ice. The special seating at meals and shows are great too. But all of us solo and couple love to mix and mingle. So jump on in get your feet wet and welcome aboard. Be careful Olivia is addictive.

Hi everyone, I am 60 and single and plan on going on this trip....How does the SOLO plan work? I am also a little scared about traveling alone.
