&lt;P style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt;" class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-SIZE:10pt;"&gt;most cameras have a fast enough shutter speed…but if there's movement by either you or what you are shooting…between the time you push the shutter button and when the shutter actually opens (even though it's only milliseconds or less) that may be one reason for out-of-focus or blurry images &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

feature…Nikon calls it VR (Vibration Reduction) basically it's for
"anti-shake" when shooting a pic.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;

basically think of it as helping out with camera shake when you are using a slow shutter speed or having
to hold onto a long telephoto lens.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;

it doesn't stop motion blur (when the object is moving) as some people think.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;

&lt;P&gt;blur is sometimes good in a photo...but when that's not what you want...increase the shutter speed&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;so far I've found the Panasonic DMC-TS10 to be a pretty good compact point and shoot camera&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;or if you want a little more zoom (and a lense that moves out) the Panasonic DMC-FH25 was nice!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
