That countdown ticker uses a html code for bulletin boards/forums so it won't run on your desktop…so...

If you have a windows PC here's a simple timer

http://www.eventcountdown.com/windows-countdown-clock.html

or if you need one for an iPhone or iPad…here's a very simple timer
