Hi FlaGirl....It does seem like a long way off, I have a feeling time will fly....Just moved to Minnesota from California and surprisingly I loved my first winter in the midwest....Maybe it was just because it was so different than Ca. I imagine you meet a lot of people from upper midwest that winter in Florida....Alaska should be so much fun!!!!!

We split up our time between Livonia which is in Southeastern Michigan & Windsor Ontario. Guess that counts.

I'm from Florida, but have lots of friends from Ontario who winter down here. I am excited too! Just wish it wasn't so long before we go :-).
