Ginger, we have used Priceline, but never for air travel. Have booked many hotels through them, naming my own price and always got great hotels at reduced prices. Have never had any issues with theml.

I'll be booking my round trip Air to the West Coast next week and can use some advice.

Usually its cheaper for my to book straight thru the airline but for some reason both United and AA are about $100 more the some of the third party sites. Wonder if its because I'm flying multi-city???

After comparing the different travel sites I found that Priceline is offering the lowest airfare. I'm concerned as the fair is over $100 dollars cheaper and with never using Priceline before I don't no if its worth paying less then whats offered directly from the airlines.

Have any of you ever used Priceline and if so would you recomend them? Is it worth saving the extra $s to use them? Anybody ever have a bad experience with them? Any advice would help..
