Watch when you're sitting around in your "all together" though. One of the peeps on a previous trip was telling us she was sitting on the sofa looking down at the fish and a native came rowing by in his kayak. She swore it was true!!! LOL

We stayed at the Hotel Intercontinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora in an overwater bungalow and it was fantastic. You have to fly from Papeete to Bora Bora and take a water taxi to any of the Hotels on bora Bora, but it was well worth the effort.

does anyone have any experience staying in an over water bungalow in Bora Bora? joan and i are planning to head to Tahiti early and wanted to stay in one. any suggestions as to which resort?
