Oh yes, a train full of women through the rockies. Great scenery both inside and out!!!!!

The only time we went through the rockies was by train. It was behind schedule leaving Calgary so it was dark by the time we reached the foothills, then, in the morning it was foggy!! Wouldn't mind a chance to do it again.

Have never gone on them myself personally but friends have and they raved about them..no matter which specific route/trip is selected. I have driven through the Rockies and stopped at most (all?) of the spots mentioned and it is truly breathtaking. A can't miss adventure for sure..whether by rail or by road methinks...just my $ .02 ($.01764 USD)

...Evergreen, I mentioned a couple of resorts in Ontario..any others you can think of? ..I think Trillium used to be Divine Lake Gay and Lesbian resort didnt it? ..and of course Oakwood sooooo close to all the beaches etc ..anyhow..never hurts to dream big :D

I think there were a number of Canucks on the cruise that just departed (reining in the green monster of envy...back you DEVIL!)

And indeed I have played in the She Drives Me Crazy Tournament. Was actually part of the first..and I think every one after that except for 1 or 2. Ya..too bad they haven't been on for a number of years...guess the organizing was a bit much for the same folks to do over and over. But perhaps we can hook up for a round sometime anyhooo...and just pretend...though my game is quite rusty...last year only got out 3 times :eek: ..am planning on changing that BIGTIME this year! ..guess right now a more apt name would be "my drives go crazy!" :D lefty with a nnnaaaassty slice ...after a few holes the groups ahead make sure to avoid the left side of the fairway..can't say I blame them! ;) ...well...off to clean up and head over to my parents' for brunch/dinner/brinner?/dunch? ...A FREE MEAL!

and to receive the seemingly obligatory chocolate bunny (though i have repeatedly mentioned i don't eat them..just take out the one from last year ..put it in the garbage and replace it with the new one) ..oh well...I guess you can take the family outta the girl but not the girl outta the family

ENJOY the day...I guess we will just hold the fort until the other Canucks return and can find us :)

Ah but yes, you are right, lovely day & a long hot Summer to look forward to.
Actually we don't like to be away at this time. Too many great things happening around the garden & too much work to do in the garden!
Not to forget that first great drive onto the fairway at the local golf course. (It's to be enjoyed, as our golf skills usually get worse as the summer progresses)

NAF, you don't have too long to wait for your first (Guaranteed, not last!!!) Olivia.

I believe we have 282 wake-ups to go for our next cruise. That doesn't include wake-ups in middle of the night to clean fur balls thrown up by Chloe the cat, or, when Chloe bites my toe etc!!

Oh yes, the politicians are quiet since they are on a 2 week Easter break after barely 1 week into their first session.
Think of how many Olivia vacations you could take if you were a politician!!! I jest, I am sure they have plenty to keep them occupied when they are not in the "house" yelling obscenities at one another!

Again, lovely day, it's great to be alive & living here.............It's almost Happy Hour & time to enjoy the sun.
