Don't forget that the LPGA Women's Canadian Open is on August 10-13 at the London Hunt & Country Club. Don't know who's going to be there, it didn't seem to attract too many big names last year.

What a great story about Dottie. At least she was always entertaining. Both Dottie and her dad (major league ball player) are in the local sports hall of fame.
From what I have read, she has completely retired from the tour due to the injuries on that shoulder.

Speaking of golf...has anyone been to the Golf Hall of Fame in Jacksonville, Florida.
My mom & I went the very first year and then again this winter. It is so much fun. If you are interested in the history of the sport or some of the players, it is a must see.
They also incorporate the current technology nicely.

99.5 cents/liter while in London the cheapest we saw was 106.9. Well, today we've caught up, indeed surpassed that!! It's 109.9 cents!
We have 2 gas guzzlers so are now eyeing the Smart Car!! A doctor in town here has a bright green one, license plate "SMARTDOC", cute eh?

Thinking about getting out for 9 holes again later today if none of Mary's stores get robbed or burn down today! :)

We have seen Dottie play several times. Can always count on her for a laugh. I recall once that a chip onto the green had plenty of air but when it landed it hit a small divot & stopped dead! She stared & stared at the area where the divot was. She was still staring, indignantly, as she walked away from the green!!
There's a tournament here in London (Ontario) this summer but I don't know if she'll be playing. She seems to be doing a lot of commentating now.

Cindy & I were able to hit some golf balls today...it was great to be able to get out. But with our 52 year young bodies....we had to go straight to the hot tub when we got home...too many aches & pains..... LOL !

Is there any chance that your E-Mail program is "Full" ?
I went through something similar. Even though the inbox should not affect the outbox ..it did.
I also found out that I had to clean out my "sent" box more often and the "deleted" box also.
Just a thought.
