They have a lot of good stuff going on there. I think Suede is playing this month... and then Amy Boyd. You all have more happening in KC then we do in NYC!

=)

Glad you are coming out Kathi!

Hello folks! I'm working on Spring and Summer bookings right now. There are a number of dates already set, if you don't see me coming
through your area and you'd like to, please send me an email at bigmouthgirl@aol.com and we'll see what we can do to make it happen!

If you are interested in hosting a house concert or a listening party, get in touch! One thing about being an indie artists, getting your work out there is completely dependent on word of mouth! So if you like my music, please tell a friend! It means so much to have your support!

Again, you can send email to bigmouthgirl@aol.com

Love & blessings to you!

(DJ...I hope you had a happy happy birthday!)
(Natalie... what is your email addy again?)

I'm back all you Hawaii chicks!!!
not a freud: I read your posting... cute and also true... I did enjoy my rewards at the 19th hole and elsewhere after my wonderful, long and sometimes hot days golfing with Rosie and her team of staff in Palm Springs.(You'd be proud of me as I didn't drink on the courses tho'.)

'twas a super 12 days away and I am so glad I went the 4 days early to do a bit of practice swinging and to play a couple of short courses to warm up after my long Canadian west(wet)coast winter. After the golf getaway ended, I also stayed on an extra 3 days to unwind before flying back to Canada.
The golf getaway was one incredible experience! I won't go on about it on this thread, as I wrote fairly long descriptions of my time in Palm Springs on both the Vallarta Palace site and the "Oh Canada" site. If you are interested, please go to the recent last pages on those threads. If you golf, I would not hesitate to refer you to a Rosie Jones golf get-away! Cheers, Mary

Mary and Dawn: Yes the ship is old(er) and she is on her second to last cruise of Hawaii right now - but she is also well loved by many. I thought she has been kept up very well. There are not the amenities that the newer, bigger ships have but sometimes that is not all it's cracked up to be either. I enjoyed the food in Tratorria and Le Bistro and sometimes in the main dining rooms but sometimes I felt they fell a little short in there.

Cruising is a good way for some people to see a little bit of each island so maybe sometime they can come back where they liked and stay longer.

I very much disagree with you that it was a huge disappointment. I had a WONDERFUL time both times I was on the Wind. One thing about the Olivia cruise that would have made it a little better is if they would have allowed some of the local entertainment to entertain on the ship and not only use the Olivia entertainment. The women didn't get to experience enough Hawaiian culture on the ship as they could have in my opinion.

NCL in Hawaii was a huge disappointment. The ship was old, and the food was substandard. We loved the gals but we got off the boat early. I would go to Maui or Koolina Marriot on Oahu. The islands are far to beautiful to spend on a ship. Go to Hawaii to experience the most beautiful place on earth. We are going to PV in November. Mary and Dawn

I'm back!! Had a WONDERFUL time though it just wasn't the same as November's trip. Didn't make it to Fanning Island because of a medical emergency and we had to turn back when we were pretty close - so we had 4 straight sea days. We did sail along the Molokai coast as part of the itinerary change and that was really beautiful, awesome, wonderful to see. Oh...did see the helicopter come (a little through a mass of people at the Observatory Lounge standing in front of the ones who were there early - oh well) and pick up the patient and he was air lifted to Kona (and from there I'm thinking he probably went to Oahu).

Danny the bartender got hurt on the previous cruise on Fanning Island - got cut really badly with a broken bottle and is now off on medical leave. Apparently he couldn't move his fingers. He was really the only one I could track down for you all. There were a couple of people from the previous cruise there that I recognized and they even recognized me. I also saw one of the servers on the BBQ line by the pool wearing an Olivia cap...*smile*

Well. I'll try to write more when I can.

Aloha everyone,
Emi

Went river rafting yesterday. Was a great day on the river, great water flow, tricky pathways and lots of fun on the rapids. Almost got flushed outa the boat on one of them but was able to stay in the raft, somehow. This winter has really changed the river routes, in many spots has moved the river over by 100 feet, taken many houses down and littered the shores with trees, boulders and even saw someones travel trailer, well what use to be, along side the river. Whew what a winter it was, evo destruction. Still have yet to get over to my fav. river to see what this years floods have done to change the rivers flow.
Well, hope all is well with everyone, catch ya later.
Inde:)
