Hi Eileen -- my post just said -- This can't be right and must be some sort of glitch in their system. 

Here's what we received for two reservations:

"Our bus driver will have a sign that says Upachaya Snorkel Tour and he will have a copy of your reservation.  Please do not accept rides from anyone else.  Once all the guests are gathered, you will be transported to Upachaya.  Upon arrival at Upachaya, please be prepared to pay the balance of $60.00 in cash at check-in."

Barb should be able to straighten it out for you.  She was very quick on the e-mail reply yesterday when I asked her to confirm if they took USD for the cash at check-in.  The answer was "yes."

How fun!  We now have half the boat on Upachaya Snorkeling Tour on 3/4 on Roatan.  Five more slots.

I just read the bios on the Upachaya Team.  The owner Barbara escaped the U.S. corporate world and does snorkeling trips and is opening a wellness lodge. (I am trying not to be jealous.)

you said it Sled!  We are also girls with gear...    I wear glasses so I have a prescription mask.  I love being able to see.

We're snorkeling around Roatan. 

We did some research and found really great reviews on the small, eco-friendly snorkeling tours offered by Upachaya Reef Snorkel Tour.  http://www.upachaya.com/snorkeltour/  They only take out 10 people at a time.

Upachaya receives really excellent reviews on both TripAdvisor.com (http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g292019-d1234362-Reviews-Upachaya_Snorkel_Tour-Roatan_Bay_Islands.html)  and the CruiseCritic boards.  From the posts, it sounds like Barb is the snorkeling guide and Duane drives the boat.  Folks rave about the whole experience.  It's $55 and includes gear, transportation, and lunch.   A 4 hour tour should leave a little post tour beach time.  The snorkeling tour also takes you through the mangroves which sound pretty cool too.
