This is such a great way to get our vacation started. We would love to meet up with other couples. Gail and I have been together over 22 years, three kids and now three grandkids.

We are orignially from LI and know Huntington and Central Islip having grown up in Hauppauge and Brentwood.

We just had our cabin upgraded and will be just down the hall from you.

We are assigned to 2nd seating but we aren't really night people (early raisers) and we are going to try and change our seating to the earlier one but we will look for you the first night.

I was so excited I booked our flight two extra days early and we aren't returning until the Monday after.

Good evening,  My partner and I also would really like to meet new couples.  We are in the first seating and both 50+.  Our original postings on this board are under ppmackinsey but for some reason we cannot access this site with that email and longer and cannot get Olvia to respond.   I digress.......

We now live in Canada but Patty was born and raised on Staten Island and still has relatives in Huntington and Central Islip. 

This is our second Olivia cruise.  Our first was this same one but the route was significantly changed by hurricane Wilma.

Are either of you going to the pre party at the Double Tree?  We are spending Sat night there.  We went to the one before our last cruise and it was fun be we actually had a ball in the bar afterwards. 

18 days sounds too long so I have resorted to work days......3, 4 (a holiday here next Friday) and then 2 before we are off.

My partner and I were wondering if there are womyn on this cruise for your first, second, or third time that would like to arrange to get together for a 2nd dinner seating on the 2nd night of the cruise just to have dinner and get to know each other over dinner.

This is my second cruise and her third and we are going on this one without friends from NC (like the last one we took on the Mexican Riviera in October) and we just thought it would be nice to get to know some other womyn our age that don't necessarily have a large group of people you are traveling with or meeting up with once you are on the ship.

If so, let me know and we will try to make a plan prior to boarding for one night at dinner(or even lunch one day if you prefer) and just make some new connections.  We think this is a wonderful way to meet and be able to all be ourselves in our "golden years".

19 days and counting!!! I cannot wait! I have NEVER seen the Caribbean waters which is shameful for this mermaid to admit but true!  I am the mermaid in this picture and my partner is the pirate. We dressed up for "Under the Sea" theme party on last cruise.
