Hi Evergreen.  I sent you a message a few minutes ago and when I clicked 'post topic' I was disconnected....grrr....Now I have to write it again.  Let's hope this posts!

I hadn't noticed the site had moved to a different group heading until you pointed it out.  However, no one is posting to it anyway....yikes!  At least this one we are on now is the same thing and we can surely continue on this one.  I wonder if Olivia could have one main alpha list of all sites as well as the 'group' lists to help people find a certain site.  The good thing is once you join a group, it sits on "your group list' and you don't have to go searching for it again.  I think the popularity of the connect is so huge it is a task for Olivia to try and organize it in such a way that everyone is happy.  Hopefully, people will settle into certain groups to continue their friendships as well as peruse around and enjoy all the chat.  It does seem like the sites are very quiet.  Someone said they would be interested in knowing the percentage of 'hits' to these new sites compared to the old forum sites....would be interesting.  It would certainly show Olivia if things are progressing well.

I found the groups, previously there, in "Miscellaneous".

So, our original Connect Canada Group is in Miscellaneous now.

Ah, Marigold, you must be in Bmtn! We have good friends there. I must ask them if they play either of those courses. They sound like a challenge we & they would enjoy.

I like to play at Peel Village as it's a tough 9 and is a beautiful course.  I joined the EWGA (Executive Womens Golf Asssociation).  It's American based which has a GTA chapter and I play at one of the sponsor courses Lionhead.  They give us a special rate of $50 to play 9, still a bit steep but quite an experience.  Lionhead is too tough for me, but I get to golf with women.  Have fun in TO!!!!  I live outside the big city, but would like to move there in a few years.

Ah, good old TO. We're going there for a couple of days next week.

It can't be that difficult to find this site, do you think? hehe.  Mmmm, a cyber party!!!  I was hoping for an excuse to travel again....I'm in TO and the weather is so unsettled right now.....I cancelled golf on Tuesday as it was supposed to rain and Thursday looked perfect and Tuesday turned out ok and now Thursday is showing rain!!! I'm only playing 9 holes, so maybe it will work out.

Oh, the party was to be a "Cyber" party. However, since there are so few folks finding their way on here I doubt that we'll be able to pull it off!!!

I have not been on the site for a bit and am working my way around here.  It kind of looks like you've been talking to yourself the past little while.  I hate when that happens.  I hope your friends from the old forum will find you soon.  I did go back there and could not find the usual links and guessed it was already deleted.  Time to make changes!  For what it's worth, it's best to get the one site going and not working between two as people will then have to adapt. I need to read back a bit to find out what's going on.  What's this about a trip in the planning? A party???  I would love to travel all the time forever!!!!  But I have to work!!!!  Will tune in again soon.
