Okay, I finally made it over here. Had company for the weekend so I didn't get a chance to look around much--my baby sister (yes, she's 32 but she will always be my baby sister) and her 2 1/2 year old son came to visit. And we FINALLY got our house-mate/squatter/personwhowasmakingourlivesalivinghell OUT OF OUR HOUSE! She's been with us since she left her husband last November...for a "few" months, she said. Hmmph. I always thought a "few" was THREE. Janet and I finally have the house to ourselves! For the first time in almost a year! WOO HOO! (she shrieks, while laughing maniacally and rubbing her hands together!)
Of course this means that my "honey-do" list just got even longer. Paint the spare room, put down stone tiles in the entryway AND the spare bedroom, move the bookcases into the spare room (complete with hundreds of books), go buy a new and bigger desk as Janet and her junk/work has "outgrown" hers, get another bookcase. Anyone feel like taking a trip to Houston to help? It never ends!
I can say I already miss the old format, though there really are some pretty cool things on this site. Like spellcheck...Liking that part already. This one just seems more difficult. Like there are more steps to accomplish the same thing. Doesn't seem efficient.
