Hey girls. Friday afternoon here so gearing up for a huge weekend.

It's our Pride day tomorrow so it's going to be a long day and night. We're starting at noon so I'll be in marathon mode. Hopefully I'll last longer than Lil did. ha ha ha

What's everyone else been doing? Flitting about Europe (Jelene & Ali :cool: ), house hunting (BrAAty & Cherie :eek: ), combating ants and bees (NAF :mad: - how's the robin's egg? :rolleyes: ), falling asleep on shoulders(Lil ;) ), building stuff (Dawn :) ), Flashdancing (Fem ;) ), partying (Carole & GenX :D )

Everything is excellent with me Lil. Saw Pink Friday night (amazing), then took Jett up the coast for the weekend (Monday was a holiday). She's limping pretty badly though as she went for an almighty stack on the beach. Rolled about 4 times, funny when it happened.. Lucky my mate who is a vet is coming over for dinner tomorrow night and can bring some drugs to fix her up!

Contemplating a change in job as well. I've got the opportunity for a reduncancy package and I need a change. Trying to decide if I should take it or not. Got appointments with the accountant and financial planner to see what my options are.

The only thing I do know is that I'll be on that boat in March !!!! ha ha ha

Winter has hit us. Friday night was soooo cold. Well for me it was. Down to 6 degress or 44 for my non Commonwealth friends. Okay - not as cold as you guys get but for me that's cold. BrAAty - you'd understand!

Nana's getting out of hospital today after being in there since early April. Can't wait to see her tonight. Apparently she has 2 walkers so that means we can race each other around the house!!

Fem - how was your weekend??? Bet it was good to catch up with the girls.

Morning everyone!! It was a great weekend with the girls. DC Pride was fun as usual. I had a few too many on Saturday . . . ha ha I hit the wall about 10:00 that night at the restaurant we were at. I ordered a drink and food and then passed out on NAF's shoulder. HA HA HA HA I think Lyn and Kindl and Dawn all had a good time.

I dropped my girl off this morning at the airport, quite bummed I must say. :(

Braaty - good luck with all of your packing and going through stuff. I know what a pain that is, I have moved enough in the past 10 years.

Nafster, yes I know that the Canadian side of the Falls is more beautiful...I am sure I will see alot of that in my travels....I found a really nice statly house that was built in 1880...it is stunning..the woodwork and gardens and stuff....I just noticed though, it does not have a garage...that could be a problem...Cherie and I will be looking at it on Friday, June 15th !!! Along with some other properties I have set up appointments to see on Saturday, June 16th with a Real Estate Agent in that area !!! It's all one big Friggin' adventure right ?

It's finally raining down here. We're in the middle of a drought and on level 5 restrictions -4 min showers, no using outside hoses, can only water with a bucket 2 days a week etc etc.
