Welcome to all the solos and newbies!  You guys will have an awesome time!  We all will!  And don't think that just because you are solos, that you won't be freely hanging out and mingling with the couples too!  You have the opportunity to partake in everything...solos' and couples' activities...anything you want to do!  In fact, its us couples that get excluded from some things, but you guys get free reign to do anything!  We made some really awesome friends our last cruise, and in fact, the solos are the ones we have kept in the most contact with since!  -eh, Jan?!  hehe

Okay, this is the first real vacation I have taken and going solo!!! I have planned an Olivia cruise for about 13 years but haven't booked one until now. I am so looking forward to the break. I hoped to meets lots of folks and have an enjoyable cruise. See you all in a couple of  months.

I'm a solo! Wow I'm so excited about my first solo vacation. Actually this is my first cruise... ever. I'm looking forward to meeting so really cool and fun womyn. I have no idea what I'm suppose to do, wear, or what not to bring. So any help you can offer will be appreciated.

Hiya..Always glad to hear from and Olivia virgin!!  I always say show up and believe.. it is your vacation and you can make it what you want it to be.. and we'll be there to help with that.. as far as the actual trip..  there will be lots of excursions marked for solos.. you can pick and choose what ones.. all , one or none.. that you want to do with others..

Not sure when you are headed to Tampa, but last time guests had a get together at the Marriott bar that was heavily attended by all that were in town the night before the cruise.. it was a great way to get to know peeps on the trip.. The meet and great is also not an Olivia event, but has been going on for awhile, where some guests choose to bring little token gifts to exchange with each other.. 

While checking in at the port, Ill have a solos desk .. Ill have the schedule for solo stuff and let you know when our solo meet and great is so you can meet others too.. so if you are a little nervous about traveling alone.. all I can say is try not to be.. itll be just fine... really.. Its hard to explain, but you'll get it once youre there.. promise..

Great to see that we have a leader for "our pack."  Being that this is my first cruise with Olivia, are there any "traditions" that I should know about?  For example, I read on another thread that there is a Meet n' Greet, where people bring things with them, from their hometown to exchange.  Sounds like fun!

Hi everyone...

 My name is Gina and I have the pleasure of being the Solos Coordinator on our upcoming trip! I am really excited for this trip and believe me, it will be a blast.. I will be checking in periodically to see if anyone has any questions about the group.. , but dont worry, there will be plenty to do and although you may be traveling absolutely solo.. traveling solo with a bunch of couples, or traveling solo with a bunch of friends all traveling solo.. you are not alone.. solo/couples alike we are all one big Olivia nation.. you'll see!!
