Hello Ladies!

Started Lurking today and thought I'd say Hi!!Wink Can't wait to be in Mexico!!

If you are thinking about the dolphin excursion, do it. It's so worth it!! We went in Cancun and had a blast.Yes

THey also warned us about not petting the dolphin's to close to thier "privates" area. Those boy dolphins just get too excited and do get gressive. Surprise

We're in NAshville and the weather has been crazy. 70 on friday and 11 on monday am. 23 today and 45 tommorrow. NO snow, which is good because the city shuts down--they close schools on the threat of snow sometimes.Huh?

We are coming with some friends from NJ and 1/2 of us will probably go deepsea fishing with the clubmed folks.

Turning 40 Cake tommorrow (12/23).. will be celebrating in Mexico DrinksBeerParty!!! Hope to meet some of you there and have a few drinks.

Was a meet and greet time place set up?

Talk to ya later

Debbie

I deleted the risotto post, as I have already begun making it and stirring and stirring.  Thanks again ladies, I picked the one with the addition of a little  nutmeg and some parmagian reggiano cheese, yum, I am sure all the other recipes I got were just fine but I am partial to reggiano.....SmileAnd I happen to have that and all the other ingredients in my house.

Now lets get back to the topic of ixtapa!!!

Thank you, it was great fun.  One of the things I found the most interesting was they warned us not to go in if you were pregnant (Not a problem with this group!) because the dolphins could sense it and would obsess with the woman's belly!  is that just too cool?

The pictures were taken in Puerta Vallarta and I don't know how the Ixtapa experience will differ but I am definitely going to check it out!

Thank you Valerie, we are extremely proud of him.  It is not what we would have chosen for him but it is all he has ever wanted since he was 8 years old!  And the change in him is astounding!

but back to the thread at hand... I added a couple of pictures to my profile of the dolphin excursion from the Mexican Riviera Cruise in '05.  It was an awesome experience to be that close.  I can't wait to do it again!

Hey lurker gals!

You must be ready to burst with pride.  Welcome your son home from all of us and thank him from all of us.  I know first hand the pride you feel!  Yes they do change a great deal!  You have to post and let us know what it is like to have him home.  Tell us about it.  I know the feeling, you look at your son so differntly now dont you?  Its amazing how proud mamas act, we are so beaming with pride!

I have never taken the snorkel excursion but have snorkeled in the past, would love too do that agin,  I even took a scuba diving course, which I never got official certification for.  If there are gals out there willing to snorkel I will defintely go on that excursion, my partner will come and watch!!! LOL! The ZIH shopping sounds great, I heard they have the best fish tacos there, it is also a fishing village from what another poster emailed me.  I can wait.  Again, hold that boy, I mean MAN, and hug him to death from all of us!!!  Enjoy this wonderful day and the precious two weeks you have with him!!  I look forward to meeting you both, stay well and happy holidays......oooh I am so excited for you, I know what your feeling!!  Big Smile hugs val

Yes, I admit... I'm a lurker!  I do check the threads every day but have not had the time to post.  This morning GF has left for work and I am indulging in a little computer time.  I would like to meet you all and swap stories.

We went on the dolphin excursion in Puerta Vallarta and it was AWESOME! We plan to do it again on this trip.  We are also interested in shoping in Zih...  Janice also wants to do some snorkeling.  Anyone have any info on that?

I promised Janice that I would try to contain my excitement until after Christmas.  Our boy from the Marines is due home this afternoon for two weeks!  I just can't wait to see him!  It's kind of funny, when he left, I couldn't wait to get him out of the house (he was a real PITA teenager) but now that he is really a man, I can't wait for him to come home for the holidays!

I agree with Sleddog 100%.  After the holidays there won't be any reasons for the lurkers not to speak up. If you have something to say, speak up, don't be shy and join the fun..
