I found a non-stop flight from San Francisco to Turkey....Could that be right???? It's on Delta....I had to of course put in earlier dates but I'm not sure I want to be on a plane that long.

I was 12 hours to China and back and it's very long.....Anyone else leaving from SF?????  Candy

We could drive to Buffalo, but not sure if international flights would leave from there.  Detroit sound good.  I think we arrive in PVR at the same time, but coming in on Air Canada.  I'm looking forward to figuring out hotels before and after the Greece cruise as I've been reading the comments on that....sounds like fun.

Thanks Joan and Jeri, I agree!!  I have nothing to mow also. Just a great rock garden on automatic sprinklers and a very nice man who comes once a month to weed it. (Knew I'd finally find them useful for something  lol)

 I'm really looking forward to Greece but am so exicted about going to Alaska on my 1st cruise in exactly 13 more sleeps until Vancouver and 17 more sleeps until we set sail that I can't focus on much else. 

I was wondering if anyone else besides Sleddog is going to Alaska?  I'm an Olivia virgin now but by Oct. 2010 I may be well accustomed to Olivia cruises. I'm retired...What a way to go...OLIVIA!                   Candy

We are fortunate that we live near the US border. We usually fly out of Detroit so, if Olivia's deal is US only we can still take advantage of it.

We're 2 hours from Toronto, 1 1/2 from Detroit.

We are flying to PVR from Detroit/Chicago. Arrive there around 2:30 pm.

I'm sure we'll meet somewhere.  I should check out the PVR site too.  What flight did you get to PVR?  We may be on the same flight.  I read some of the banter in this group and it's good to know Olivia is going to recommend flights to Turkey as there can't be many to choose from.  I'm wondering though if it's for US flights only.  I suppose, if it's worth it, we could fly to a US state and then to Turkey....we'll see!

Hello to all!

We've also signed on for this cruise.  I have other travels planned before this one, but it's exciting to have it to look forward to.......this is my first cruise ever, and I thought it would be best to start with the calm waters of the Aegean Sea.  I've travelled with Olivia to land resorts and am eager to compare.  Next trip to Puerto Vallarta for the Vallarta Palace Resort in November!  I will check in from time to time.  Happy travels everyone.
