Oh, yes, forgot to say..... he is cute. He could have used some grooming here because the poor little guy had been on the road for a while. He looked real sharp once they got him settled in at home.

Brewmax,

Glad to hear that your Daffy's are poking through.

Also sorry to hear about the prices of the gas & oil.  (Also FYI - you have the NY State part correct.  Hovever, we were from the other side   i.e. Saratoga Springs, above Albany)...but we are still happy that we left when we did !

Oh, Evergreen, I sure don't envy you shoveling that snow!  Brrrr.

JoCindy, propane really shot up this year and people are suffering because of it.  Even though I pre-bought my gas at $2.25 a gallon this year (so don't have to pay the $2.85-$3.05/gallon prices), I am looking at ways to save.  In fact, I'm meeting with a business owner today to arrange for my ceiling insulation to be increased to an R-49 value. . . he says it will pay for itself in just one season and the price does appear reasonable to me! Too late to do much for this past winter's costs, but should also help with the a/c bills this summer and certainly next year's heating bills!   So, yes, you left Buffalo at a good time!

BTW, our daffodils are pushing through and up but have not yet opened.  Soon....
