Hello Everyone:

M. Jean and Michelle here...  We were booked on the 35th Birthday Bash but something has come up and we are now doing Turks!  Turks will be our 7th Olivia resort in 5 years...  Think that maybe we are addicted???  After the first trip we were hooked and would have a very hard time doing a vacation without Olivia...  We are also from the East Coast about 1 1/2 hours from Ptown!  Fly out of Logan (Boston) and will also have to leave in a winter jacket and then get into shorts...  Believe me you will get use to it...  This past November 12 of us flew out of Boston to Puerta Vallarta with Olivia, loved it...  By the way we went to see KD Lang in Boston last night - Unbelievable!!!!  Anyone that gets a chance to see her GO!!!!  Keep chatting...  Maybe I can take a page out of my friend Indie's book and set up something so that everyone here can meet up on day one in Turks...   Cannot wait to hear from everyone!!!

Hi There,

The ceremony is one group Ceremony.  It is done nicely, however If you are wanting something personalized just for the two of you this is not it.  There are usually several couples, when we did it there were probably 30-40 couples.  Many other couples that are spectators that are there to support, cheer and clap for you.  It was a nice experience, however Lisa and I will be having our own private ceremony to make it more intimate and meaningful.

Hope this helps.

Hi Tamara,

I have been looking at flights but it seems complicated and expensive to get there. Un fortunately Air Canada doesn't start its direct flights until the 3rd of November. We may fly to via Miami with AA and then direct home with Air Canada but can't seem to get any info from AC yet. I will keep watching and see what comes up. Must also decide just how much extra time we want to spend there. Definitely want more than just one week. I just noticed Olivia/Club Med offers 2 extra days for $169 per person which may carry us over until AC flys back to Canada. Overall, flights seem very expensive right now...about a grand. By the way, where did you go to on your first Olivia trip?

So tell me all about the ceremonies and how they work. Anna and I were looking to have a small one of just us while we are there and when I contacted Olivia about it they told me they do a mass one and that they could not help me or give me any information on doing one of our own. I was not very impressed with the lack of help that was offered to me and it upset me a little to be honest. I was worried about the mass one being cheesy and dont want that at all..... So you dont feel that it was in any way?

Congrats on the 2 for 1!!! That is a great thing. I have really really been looking forward to being secluded and enjoying the island for a week!! We plan to come a little early and maybe even stay a few days late!!

May I will just send for my stuff and never leave?

Hi There,

A recommendation is to stay at the Sands at Grace Bay.  This is where we stayed on our previous trip to the Turks.  It is very nice.  Most dive companies will pick you up from your hotel.  Caico's adventures when a step beyond that and would clean, keep and set up your gear for the next day so you could enjoy more time on the island.

You will love the Olivia experience!!  There is nothing else like it.

October and November cannot get here soon enough!

Hi everyone!  My partner and I just got back from the Carribean Dreams cruise last weekend!  It was our first Olivia experience and it was amazing!!  We may never do another vacation without Olivia again!  We booked this trip while we were on the cruise because I won a 2 for 1 trip!!  So we are booked for the second week!  We just got back but we cannot wait!  We participated in the commitment ceremony and it was beautiful!  It was fantastic to be surrounded by such love when we said our vows.  I can't wait to get to know all of you before the trip!

Hi Girls, My partner Vita and I are planning to go two weeks too, but probably the second week at another resort. We are also divers and figure we'll get more of that in in the other week. Getting there seems to be the biggest headache. We are from Canada and are used to direct flights or packages with flight and hotel included. I can't wait to find out who the comedians are. Do you know how soon prior to a trip they let you know these details?  This is our first Olivia trip and I hope it is everything I am expecting. I must say I have never read a negative review!

Hello Ladies!!!

Anna and I live down south of you in Sierra Vista, Which is about 45 minutes south of Tucson. This will be our first Olivia trip and I am so excited about it. There is actually going to be a good size group coming from our very little space in this world. I think we are up to about 11 or so and the numbers keep growing!! Its nice to see that we arent the only ones looking forward to an escape from AZ at that time of year. I booked this trip last Sept so its killing me to have to wait but I know once we get there it will all have been worth it!!

Cant wait to meet you!!

Returning to the Turks and Caicos

Hi There! This will be our third trip with Olivia. The whole Ovlia experience is one you will never forget, and you will find that you go through withdrawls after you leave. Our last trip was the Alaska cruise in September of 2007. Though nice... I definitely prefer the resorts. We went to Columbus Isle in Dec 2006 and loved it!!!! There was a lot to do and you could take your time and enjoy all the scenery unlike the cruise where you have a limited time in each port. Also Lisa and I have traveled to Turks and Caicos prior to knowing about Olivia. The islands are very welcoming to gay and lesbians. If you are a diver, the diving is fantastic with visibility of 80- 100+ feet every day and water temperatures in the 80's in November. I highly recommend Caicos Adventures to dive with, they are fantastic. The dive master took us to many sites where we saw plenty of eagle rays, sting rays, reef sharks, baracuda and incredible coral. You have the option to dive on your own if you are experienced diver or you can dive with a guide. I highly recommend diving with one of the guides if you have never dove the Turks before, they will show you everything. The lobster is AWSOME and there are several restaraunts on Provo to get a great lobster. The beaches are prestine, white and very soft almost like walking on baby powder. Snorkeling is great at Grace bay, lots of turtles. We are so excited to return, we are staying two weeks!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

CoolHi, Karen and I will be on our 6th Olivia Vacation and our 1st resort.  Looking forward to snorkeling, dancing and most of all relaxing.  We too are from Arizona but the Phoenix area.  We have met lifetime friends on our Olivia trips  and hope to get some of them to come on this vacation.  looking forward to meeting everyone.  We are in our 50"s but found age is irrelevant on these trips. Hi everybody!!!!!!

I finally made our reservations and I'm ready to scream, I'm so excited!!!!  My partner, Martha, and I went on the Mexican Riviera cruise in October '07 and had the best time.  There is nothing like being free to be who you are 24 hours a day for a whole week!!!!!  The comedians made the trip so much fun, which is why we chose this resort.  Oh, and the turquoise water did help.  We are going to have so much fun!!  Martha and I have been together for 15 years and live in Virginia.   Looking forward to laughing with you all for a whole week.  Big Smile

Looking forward to chatting with other excited vacationers!!!!!!!!!!

 Sandie
