I thought that this past weekend's episode (Episode 3) was the best of the season.

Bette and Tina need to just work things out and have crazy "we miss eachother, we're meant to be together" sex. I can't stand the character of Jodi, can't take her seriously, and literally squirm every single time she's in a scene.

Tasha needs to drop out of the military and continue to have crazy sexy floor sex with Alice in her little boy shorts. They're a hot couple. I sound like a man here.

Who thinks that they're going to eventually make Jenni's new assistant totally hot? Yep - I do.

Are they writing Helena off of the show or what?

Carmen needs to come back on the show for Shane.

And I'm not sure how I feel about any experimentation that might take place between Max and Jodi's translator guy.

No, No, Valentine. I meant that Helena's cell mate was a big lesbian on the show - not necessarily in real life. :) Obviously the episode which aired last night shed even more light on that situation. *laugh*

Nah, no Paige.  She can go. 

But Carmen...mmmmm, she definately needs to come back to the show.  Maybe she will be shot on her current tv show, Life, and be transported back to the hospital on the L Word.  She can share a bed next to Jenny when she has another psychotic break and cuts herself to ribbons.  Shane enters and the sexual spark is too much for Carmen to bear.  Just as they were getting hot and heavy, the sexy nurse interrupts to give Jenny an overdose of morphine and joins in the Shane and Carmen sandwich.

Wow...look at where my mind goes. *blush*

So glad the "L Word" is back on the air.  We were cracking up at the "under the boob" peek from Shane; so expected to have that happen, yet so well staged!  Agreed as to NO chemistry with Bette and Jodi; NEXT!  And imagine, Alice's sexual performances being called "vanilla" by a rookie - and what a rookie she has turned out to be ... more of the same, please!

While we all have our feelings about the show, the characters and the concepts, it is so FABULOUS to have a show with Lesbians, Lesbians and more Lesbians.  DRAMA is the key word for keeping us dialed in and it's working! 

Thankfully, they have improved the editing this year.  They drove me crazy last year with all the quick cuts, the four-box screen shots, etc.  Much better now.

Anyone check out "Cashmere Mafia"?  We have a great new coming-out character there.  Enjoyed the first episode.

I think Mia does a great job in getting everyone to hate her character.  It would be tough to play a borderline disorder psycho chick. 

Jodi si annoying.  i don't think Bette and Jodi have any chemistry.  Probably because they have been friends for years.  I couldn't make out with any of my friends and have it look sexy.  But then, I'm definately not an actor.

I still haven't watched the whole episode yet.  Just bits and pieces from last night.  I going to attempt to tonight and they also gave us a copy of Episode 2.

hahahah!  I LOVED it!  I was at a house party to watch it with some friends including my buddy Natalia Zukerman.  She's a part of their soundtrack.....you usually hear her guitar  playing during the intro to the jail scenes.  I was thoroughly entertained.  I burst out laughing when I saw Shane's head peering out from under the real estate agent's boob.  hahaha!  It was just too funny.  Jodi is just annoying.  Can you say drama???  She's like the nightmare of all girlfriends.  She's just soooooo unappreciative and high maintenance.  I dated "her" once and it was tiring.
 

I wasn't disappointed with the show at all.  Last year's premiere seemed so bad to me that this was a definite step up.  It's high drama "lesbian" entertainment.  I had a great time!
