Right now, our plan is to do dinner Monday.  We will look for those rainbow boas.  We are arriving later Sunday so we won't be making the Sail Away party.

I just turned 50 and my partner Joyce is 54, so I guess we qualify.  We would love to get to know some other couples also.  We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year, and this is our big celebration, taking the cruise.  We are also at the second dinner seating.  I sort of like the second seating, (this is our third cruise) because you don't feel so rushed to eat and leave.  So we will be looking forward to meeting everyone.

We would love to meet with you either at the sail a way or Mon. evening. Did you mean first seating or second? We also have another couple we know on the trip too. They fit the age bill too. Can they come along as well? We will be in 6122.

Good evening,   Debbie, Patty and I will be staying at the Double Tree on Sat night and attending the pre party, we will look for the rainbow boas on Robin and LeAnn.  will you also be in distintive attire?

Since Monday is our first sea day we are hesistant to commit to dinner but if we make it will will look for those boas.  I'm afriad our cruises lack structure which in one reason we didn't make it to the diningroom alot last time!

6 more days of work for me, 4 for Patty before we set out for Orlando and some warmth!

Safe travel.

14 DAYS!!!!!

Here's a plan to get together:

Since everyone else seems to have the first seating dinner, and we have found out that it doesn't matter after the first night, we propose to get together for dinner on MONDAY evening on the UPPER LEVEL of the Vista Dining Room. How about meeting in line 10 minutes before the dining room doors open?  LeAnn and I will be in line first, and we will both have on rainbow boas.  If there are eight of us, then we will get one of the round tables that seat eight, which would be better for conversation than the long tables, which seat ten. We are in Cabin # 7145.

Let us know if you want to be part of this plan.  If any of you have another idea for us to meet each other on Sunday after we all board the ship, we are open to that, also.  We will definitely be at the Sail Away party Sunday night, and we could wear our boas then, just let us know.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

I am going to try this again, my last post just dissappeared from under my typing fingers.   I hate it when I type between the keys and weird stuff happens!

Stumpy - Thanks for the info, it's nice to know there is flexibility in the dinner seating.  We only ate dinner once and breakfast once in the dining room, our schedule never seemed to match the hours.

Fuzbare - I am not sure what time we will get to the ship, Patty's brother and his partner are driving us down from Orlando on Sat and taking us to the ship on Sunday.  Last cruise we arrived before the boarding process even began but still waited over an hour to board, I wonder if it is quicker if you arrive later?  Anyone tried that?  We did the express checkin but I am assuming most everyone will do that also.

rielthing - are you and Bev planning on attending the pre party?  If so maybe we can hookup there.

Have a good evening all....I am off to see if I can improve my tennis score on Wii.

Thanks so much Stumpy...did not know that fact and it is nice to know!!!

This will be my second cruise and my partner's third so we are still "newbies" I guess.

You don't know how many times we have wondered about the seating rules...makes sense.

I cannot believe how close we are to sailing. I have NEVER seen the Caribbean water before and this mermaid is so excited she can barely sleep!

Safe travels to you and see you soon!

fyi - after the first night the dining times are flexible.  ie you can eat at the early sitting if you want.  It's only strict the first night due to the Heart shows.

My partner (Bev) is 54 and I (Debbie) am turning 50 next week. Though we are eating at the early seating, we would enjoy meeting other couples. We are open to meeting anywhere and anytime.

We are also going to be at the Double Tree the Saturday before the cruise leaves.

Hello all!

Great response and glad to see so much interest on this thread!

It seems as if we may need to decide to do lunch rather than dinner since the majority has first seating at dinner.  We booked this trip only a few weeks ago and were "assigned" second seating and we don't know if we can change it or not.

So, we are open to suggestions on lunch the day we board or the day after?

We are going to try and get on board as soon as possible and go to to the Lido deck and wait for the stateroom to be ready so let's hear from everyone about lunch and what day does everyone think might be better!

Also, we can arrange to meet at a certain place on the Lido deck since we all need to meet up first and go from there...any suggestions?

17 days and counting!  I am so excited!!!!!! Must close now and get ready for WORK! :-(

Hi all.........I  really do think that almost 50 counts, Patty just made the 50 mark and as we speak (yup, I have a mouse in my pocket) I am edging out of it.

It is wonderful to see so many excited women.

Hi to everyone. Judy and I will be visiting with our parents( the all live in Wynmore a retirement community in Fla.) so we won't be able to meet before the cruise. Please keep us in the loop as to things happening. Diane

P.S. LI is Long Island

Deb is 53 and I will be turning 49 on the cruise. I'm not quite there yet.  Can I still qualify?  We have the early dinner seating.  It would be nice to meet other couples.  Looking forward to meeting you all!
