Mary--happy to celebrate your birthday together in Mexico!!

Susan-great on the weight loss, size 4 wow! don't think i'll be aiming for that but thanks for the encouragement!

Inde--Sorry no pics but it was a redbull event. Called Flugtag. It was funny to watch but the heat liked to kill us;we left early and went to Hooters ;) .

The arena football game was great; in the last minute of the game each team scored making it a very exciting game neck and neck and with 4 seconds left our team won!!! All those people who left early really missed out!

We are finally getting some rain, yeah!

Lauray are you OK? Please let us know.

Glad I booked our flights because it looks like the ones they have now are more money and some of them take 21-30 hours to get home yikes!

Have a good one check in later-

Debbie

Hello out there in cyberspace to all of the OP3 gurlies! So glad to hear what everyone is up to lately.
Mary, welcome back, glad to hear that you had a nice time! Sounds like you will be enjoying yourself on several Olivia trips for some time, nice!!

Lauray, ouchie, gads zooks, a fall? what happened, you ok? No broken bones? Hope not, still, a fall can really mess one up, sure that your back and neck are not happy. How is the doggie, Huka, did I spell that right, or am totally off base? And how is Kel? Have you heard from Donna? Oh where, oh where can she be? Miss having her stop in to say hi, hint, hint!

Way to go on booking the flights Deb and Wendy, still gotta do that.
Good luck on selling the car, sounds like a nice mobile. Glad that you are not taking it to the river craft launch pad. My oh my, have seen those adds on tv for red bull and them showing people launching crazy crafts into the water with themselves in the contraptions. Crazy stuff, would be fun to watch, did you go? Any photos of the event?

Bev n Susan, sounds like you two have things under control, glad to hear that you, Susan are losing weight, I must pof gotten all of your unwanted lbs. Now I must start to change a few things so I can drop some weight. This not river rafting has really shown, being a guide I use to burn up the calories, but this year taking a break from it all, yikes, weight issues.
Must get a bit more active!! Change over to lite beer for awhile. Eat less bread.

Ok, gotta get doing some inside chores, have been pressing the bed. It did rain that day, and today it is a rain day, good day to be inside.

Have a great day!

Inde:)

Just a quick note to let you gals know about a great site for booking flights, hotels, etc. It is called "sidestep.com" and they look up any specials from all carriers and present them to you to mull over and possibly book.
When I flew to Manchester, England from Van. B.C., I got a $199/return flight!!!... an unreal deal. I have checked them again for my return flight from Van. to P.Vallarta and they have some for $650. and up. You should check it out before booking anything.
Cheers Mare... have a great w/end. Happy Pride Week! I'm off to a brunch at at downtown restaurant and later a "tea" dance from 2pm - midnight at our local gay club....should be fun!

Debbie, Congrat's and good luck on starting your diet! I just returned home from my Weight Watchers meeting and have lost 13 lbs in 2 months and am down to a size 4! My motivation was going to Tahiti and being in a bathing suit top and sarong for 12 days! :)

You will LOVE the Blue Chairs resort! Loved having cabana boys on the beach to bring guacamole and Coronas! Susan

Hi gals... Deb & Wendy... nice to hear from you all. I think we might have to have a few "cheers" on Nov. 9th at the Blue Chairs.. as it is my b'day!!! (yikes, another one!). Yes, I will be able to qualify for a pension soon. 55 years young when that date arrives.

My other trips are Alaska in Sept. of this year. By the way I have a 2 for 1 coupon, if anyone would like to take advantage of sharing a cabin at half price with me.
Next year I am doing the Caribbean Treasures trip from March 30 - April 6th.
Then I go with Olivia to Turkoise for a Resort vacation from Oct.25 - Nov.1/08.
I will probably book extra time on all these trips to explore the countries a bit more.
I think that's it for now... stay tuned.. Mary

Lauray --ouch hope you are alright- :) . Ok lets go over it again, one foot THEN the other! Just teasing. Really hope you have a good story and are OK.

Hope everyone is enjoying summer.

We're headed to an arena football game this weekend- got a good deal on tickets and sounded like something fun to do.

Also thinking about heading to an event on the river front; you may have seen this type of event--people build these crafts of sorts-- to see which will hurdle off land and into the river with a person in the "craft". People build all kinds of funny things to launch themselves into the water.

Started my diet to look fit in November wish me luck.

Mary--have you recovered yet? Love to hear more about your trip. What else did you book?

Well check ya later!!

:) . ;) . :) . ;) .

Hi to all you Vallarta Palace "cheekas"(sp?). It is Mary checking in after a wonderful 3 week get-away in southern Europe. Oh my gosh, what a time I had with so many touching experiences. I wrote a bit of description on the "Greek" forum, so you can have a read there, so I do not have to repeat myself too much here.
Actually, I am not home in Nanaimo yet. I fly by float plane this afternoon. I got back on Friday evening(June 15)and have had the w/end with my brothers'family and sister in Vancouver. I am using his computer before I take off for home later today.
It was good to catch up on the posts on this site and I am glad all is going pretty well for you gals... all things considered.
I will write more later... I did book a couple more holidays with Olivia, while on the cruise... yikes! I also won a 2 for 1 for a later trip(still undecided). I must get in touch with Flavia at Olivia, to find out what I'm doing with them in the future??? This "mentalpause" and hot flashes with memory loss is a challenge!
Love, Mare

Ok dates firmed, we are arriving the 9th and leaving the 18th. The 18th it looks like we will stay at the V. Pallace decided it would be too much work to pack move to another hotel and then repack the next day.

Looks like we will finally get some rain this week! The yard is pretty sad right now.

I'm trying to sell my 1967 Olds Cutlass--so wish me luck.

Hope everyone has a great week!

I'm excited!! Booked Friday Nov 9th at Blue Chairs--SO ITS PARTY AT BLUE CHAIRS FRIDAY!!!
I wasn't sure how much room was left with MAry so we booked separate.

We are aslo thinking about leaving the 18th so staying at Blue Chairs on the 17th ANYONE ELSE?

Do you think the women of Olivia would consider picking up the crowd at Blue Chairs Saturday AM?
That would be fun!

So far my airfare search has yeilded the best flight times and prices from Delta from Nashville. Just under $1000. The flights would have us there Friday at 1pm and leaving Sunday at 2pm to be home by 8pm sound pretty good to me I'll probably book this week in fear of rising prices and worse arrival/departure times.

I know we are several (UGH!) months out but I'm starting to get pumped. Can't wait!!

Inde-did it rain? Did you get to press the couch?
One of my patients tough me that phrase; make me feel like I'm doing something worth while on the couch ;) .

Started looking for new bathing suits since last year I discovered that they are hard to find in OCT/NOV imagine that! So don;t forget to get your beachwear now!

Hey thanks for the info. on airline deals, will ck it out. I know that Mary has booked the bluechairs and I am coming in early and plan to stay a night or two at the blue chair resort with her. Not sure how many of us can fit in a room. Do I hear pajama party at the Chairs? lol
Ya, where is Mary, come out, come out!!

Ok, have slowed down a bit on doing things around the place, even taking time to, as you say press the couch! I like that. Have to get back into the swing of things and get the inside done, but have relaxed a bit.
Planned on working outside today, but it may rain, drats, if not will be out if so will be in.

Best get a move on and start the day.
To all have a good one!

Lauray--I got the photo I ordered and we both love it we are looking for frames right now. We love to fish, it's nice you can go with your friends. We'll keep looking for new dolphin photos.

Inde--you are so industrious, my favorite activity seems to be "pressing the couch" on many days. Someone has to keep that couch pressed!!

Where is Mary? Is she back from her worldwide tour? Anyone know?

I think we are definately arriving on Friday in PV if anyone wants to meet up lets start a list ok? Not sure where we are staying but I'm going to check bluechairs when done here.

Take care girls!!!

Thanks for the updates gals! So glad to hear some chatter here finally.

Oh, Lauray, sounds so nice, you are so lucky! Posting anymore pics? Hope so, you are good!
Have been trying to shift to the inside of house, my best childhood friend is coming out for a week during the 4th of July. Gotz to go to the beach, to the market, to the lesbo bar, to the mountains.... Will be fun.

The weather has been good here, a bit breezy, thus rain is trying to creep in, prob. will show up on the weekend. Dratz, was planning on laying gravel and potting soil in the new flower bed that was created when I built one of the retaining walls. Can always work inside.

Ok, back to chores and watching a series on Hawaii on the Travel Channel. Oh so beautiful.
