I need to add Brewmax that there was no "suggestion" of anything  with my first comment. I was just confused since no one at Olivia has indicated that there's a possibility of KD putting on a second show & here you are suggesting it could happen.

Don't understand your first comment or suggestion there, Evergreen.  Nothing's been 'shared' with me. . . and I don't recall saying this approach to entertainment was Olivia's 'norm' either;  I said providing a grand experience (in my opinion) has been their norm.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I think you've made yours clear.  I'm just not going to bitch and moan about something until I see how it actually plays out and ends up.  I'm going to be optimistic until I have reason not to be.  I'd rather half the cruise ship get to see K.D. than none at all, too ~ call me crazy if you want but. . . .

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

When we pay for an expensive vacation there is no place for games. Whatever company, and especially what we have come to expect from Olivia,  should be forthright & announce what will be. Not leave people who have supported them for years guessing at what they will be getting for their $$$'s.

Well, I'm ever the optimist, I suppose. . . I have no reason to believe that there will more than one show for K.D. Lang, and I certainly agree that it would be a cruel twist of fate if only half the ship really got to see/enjoy her performance.  Your concerns are valid. But I'm an optimist.   I'm hoping my name will get selected so that I'll get to see her. . . but I'm also hoping that a second show will be added at some point.  It could happen.

 I have always felt that Olivia provided me a grand experience, and I have no reason to doubt that they will again on this cruise.  In the event that they don't, or that I feel slighted when all is said and done, I will take that up with Olivia at that time and/or decide whether Olivia will be my next choice for a vacation.  Until then though, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and see what they ante up ~ because it's usually something pretty special and rewarding.

Brewmax, do you realize that you might not get to see KD? That only 50% of the ladies will get tickets in a random draw.

I'd only think it great if I was guaranteed a ticket. But even then, that's not fair to the other ladies that wont get one!
