Tree: Right now American Airlines is offering flights for $650 RT from OKC!  With much less travel time than you posted...Good luck!

HI, We are flying to Miami from PUnta Cana on AA #1490 on 5/18.  We leave PC at 7:10a.m., and arrive in Miami at 9:40.  From there, we fly to Dallas/Ft. Worth at 12: 15 on AA #840.

 Are you going to be on either of those flights??

Just finished booking flights. So very happy that is over!!!! Since our boys (min pins) are going to a spa in the country during this trip, we can't come a day early. However we did luck out with direct flights from Chicago and free upgrades with United.....nice!!!!

Ok, the best I've found so far from OKC is a doozie.  OKC to Denver, Denver to Charlotte, Charlotte to Philadelphia and Philadelphia to Punta Cana.

My flight plan looks like a dance step from the foxtrot. 

That's an overnight flight and 20 hours in the air for $800 but it's worth it to get to Punta Cana in time for happy hour.  (God knows I'll need one by then).  To buy or not to buy?  When I waited to get my flight to Cancun, the price only went up.  But the bargain hunter in me won't give in.

 Booked last night!  Decided to stay the night in Miami both ways.  Found a decent/cheap hotel with free airport shuttle that was cheaper than doing the direct flights.  Still was $650pp.  I wanted to wait to see if we could get cheaper, but the seats were already starting to get broken up and the wifey hates to fly, so I have to be with her.  At least everything is paid for now.  Countdown begins!

So I already booked my flight, and am flying out of San Francisco.  I am leaving Thursday arriving Friday.  And I got a fare with United for about $1000 (and I paid extra for the extra leg room as I am tall).  I think without the leg room it was about $750.  But I booked it about 2 months ago.  SFO to Newark, and then Newark to Punta Cana, and coming back I think it is through Dulles.
