This is a good way to connect, made a big difference for us on our last trip, first night we had someone to sit down at dinner with and even met someone on the same flight...from what I hear going solo is fine...they have lots of activites for solos, even some are exclusive to solos....we need to wait until this trip however hearing great things about Columbus Isle..

Hello all you fab ladies - I'm going solo on this trip - and am also going solo to Columbus Isles Resort this Oct. - I've noticed that a lot of you are doing both trips as well!  I'm SO excited to be doing my 1st ever resort AND cruise, but am equally nervous about them as well...at least reading these postings makes me feel like I will "know" some people before I go...please forgive me if I call all of you by your "olivia" names instead of your "real" names

Well, we booked our airline flights using frequent flyer points!!  Yippee!!

Now - when do we find out what the host hotel is gonna be?? 

OK. No problem, Sleddog. It's just such a great design and seemed to be well received on the forum.

Meanwhile, perhaps there are others who have ideas for an appropriate logo. Maybe we can make it a contest where we'll get to vote on our favorite design. As it gets closer to cruise time there'll probably be more input to this.

Hi all. Well, I'll be sailing in the cheap seats, but at least I got onboard and registered for this cruise.

I've set up an account in Zazzle that we can use if we want to make up t-shirts for the trip. I tried to get your pattern uploaded, Sleddog, but it was too big to load. If anyone can figure out how to upload the pattern, we can go ahead and make up t-shirts.

Who's going to make it available for us to buy?

My partner and I are gonna use frequent flyer points to book our flight from ATL -> SAN DIEGO.  If I've counted it correctly, the airlines will start booking tix for 3/24/11 -- 4/2/11 sometime this week!  So, if you are thinking of using rewards points, book 'em this week!

There has to be a diagnosis for this thing...Lynn and I are getting ready to go to Cancun in two weeks, I'm looking at flights to Orlando for the Western Caribbean cruise, and now lurking here-and this trip, which will then be our fourth in less than two years, is still a year away. The immediate addiction to Olivia engendered by our trip to Alaska last fall is like nothing either of us have ever experienced-and I've traveled a lot, to many places.

Sled, is there any Olivia even on which you don't go? You are the prototype of whatever this thing is that I've now caught. Love the logo-need to get it up on Zazzle or Cafe Press so that we can all show up with it on our t-shirts!
