Cool, thanks Ela!  We may need to do that...round up folks with vehicles to take everyone over there.  The bus coordination is not going too well, as nobody seems to have a simple bus...just big expensive party buses!  That would be too expensive for me to cover, so unless I hear back from a normal transport bus, we may have to go to plan b.

:)  But one way or another...we are gonna be ridin' roller coasters!

Hi Bunny,

I plan on having a rental car.  If the bus doesn't work out, I should be able to take some of the roller coaster girlz to BG.

This isn't in stone yet, but I am just seeing what is available.  so far the quotes are pretty silly.  We aren't gonna spend a grand!  haha  It is only about 15-20 minutes away!

I am receiving quotes now for a bus to pick up everyone that wants to go to Busch Gardens on Friday, Feb 26th.  It would leave the Marriott Host Hotel area at between 10-10:30am and return to the hotel at park close, which will be ~7:00pm.  If you are staying at a nearby hotel, like the one right across the street from the Marriott, then you can still hop on the bus...it is going to be right near the trolley station probably, as I don't see where else it could park! haha

If you get in to Tampa by air too late to take our shuttle bus, and you get to the park to join us via a taxi, you can still get a ride back on the bus with us.

What i need to know now, is who is interested in hopping on the bus to Busch Gardens on Friday for a day of Ryndamsel Roller Coasters?!  woohoo!!!  Sleddog even made a spiffy stick on tattoo for all participants!  (a few pages back)

So far we have 14 for sure for Friday, Feb. 26th, and a bunch of maybes that I didn't list:

Bunny & Weasel (Chrissy & Nikki)
Mtgrad (Jan)
Sleddog & Azar (Jana & Azar)
Rebecca & Alana
Tracie1029
Activity (Eileen)
Ela
Whoop96 (Ashley & Kim)
tlday (Tammy & Sheri)

Please let me know if you are interested in seriously joining us at the park on Friday.  Since I need to reserve a bus now, I'll need to get a pretty good count of how many are going.  Pipe up now~!   -even lurkers are invited to participate.  (we know you're out there!)

With this wacky weather, we may have to play it by ear.  Friday was going to be the original day, which allowed Saturday to be a "rain day".  Either day works for me, but my preference is Friday, since it is pretty hilly and can wipe out my back/legs for a day.  I need a recovery day so I won't be sore on day 1 of our cruise!

Yeah Selddog, since we will have to stretch our stomachs ahead of time in order to adequately feed our faces with all that awesome grub offered during the cruise week!   hahahaha

-especially after dieting for the months prior!
