You have to put down a deposit now to hold your reservation, and the rest you pay in cash upon arrival. 

I actually just booked another excursion through this same group for Roatan.  :)

I already booked the cave tubing this morning.  First you have to send a request, and they verify they have room, then they send you a link in order to complete your reservation.  All very simple.  :)

They even provide "alternate" options if they are unable to do the trip due to weather.  I didn't really want to do any of those though, and opted to not go at all if I couldn't go caving.  :) 

Woohoo!  I'm really looking forward to this one!

Has anyone actually made reservations and paid for their Xstream raft trip yet?  I would like to go ahead and do that, but the website only lets me fill out a request form.  Now I'm wondering if we will even be able to do it since they only take out 4 groups of 14 a day, they might be reserving all the spots for Olivia solos that day?

Any suggestions?

The exact same Xtreme cave tubing adventure we are planning is one that HAL/Olivia is planning on making a "Solos ONLY" excursion... So they ONLY way us NON-solos can do this one is to book through this outside company... Just an FYI if people are wanting to book through the cruise line! The have not released prices for excursion yet, but they do have them all listed on the HAL site... The last line on the HAL shore excursion description says "This will be an exclusive “Solo’s” excursion for our Olivia guests on March 3, 2010 only."

Well, based on Beachgal's research we booked the cave tubing and ziplining adventure with Xstream. Thanks for the legwork Beachgal! I don't think we will be able to tour with y'all as we zipline first then tube.

Welcome to the party! I have 3 days of excursions booked with this company so I am really putting a lot of trust in them. Go to www.belizecruiseexcursions.com. I really researched this but have no firsthand experience. You may want to go back and read through this thread or just cross your fingers with the rest of us that it will be a great day and we will enjoy it and each others company! I'm fairly sure we have not reached the 14 limit. I wrote on my form that I wanted to be with the others from The Ryndam although I think it is automatic from the way the info reads.

We are thinking about the jungle canopy tour. I wish it was combined with the cave tubing, but it doesn't look like HAL has a combined tour. I have found independent operators, but it seems like Belize is one destination where it's good to book the cruise line tour-it seems like you are first off the ship, and the operators are aware of your departure time. What do other folks think about this?
