Hi Lisa, We are staying at the Nassau Palm Hotel on 4/30 we should be in nassau @ about 12.45 Friday. We also are flying out to Columbus Isle @ 11.00am, We are flying Bahamas Air. I'm wondering if your on our flight? not too many going to San salvador. We totally can't wait.

Thanks for the welcome - and no worries about the job.  I knew it was coming, and I'm looking foward to the time off.  The timing worked out perfect for this trip - we'd had our eyes on it for quite a while but were just waiting for the job thing to sort itself out.

Hello All!!  We (Joyce & Lisa) just booked yesterday.  Talk about last minute...  Other than the fact that we have to go a day early and leave a day late (bummer!!) because all the flights on the 2nd and the 9th are sold out, and the fact that we are just now joining this chat (that really is a bummer), this last minute thing is working out great.

So forgive us for joining your chat so late, but we wanted to introduce ourselves, and hope you'll let us join your "laid" party on Sunday.

Joyce has a house near Chicago, and I have a house in Colorado.  At the moment, we spend most of our time in IL, but want to get moved to CO.  The problem is, Joyce has the good job at the moment.  (I just got laid off last week from Verizon, so that's why I'm free for a last minute vacation.  So I guess I should have said Joyce has the only job at the moment, but it is a good one.)

Anyone staying in Nassau on 4/30?

 Welcome Carrie & Ann.  Ya'll are #100 on the thread!!!!  Be sue and sign up for the Beach Bar get-together.  We are flying directly from FLL to CI on the Olivia charter.

Thanks for telling us about the 44 pounds - we definitely would have been over (at least Ann would have been). Now she's going to have to unpack at least half of what is already in there a month ahead of time!

Anyway, we are spending the night in Nassau and flying out Saturday morning as well. Maybe we can meet for dinner or something. Anyone else going to be there and want to join?

Ahhh, the magic # has passed. We now have less than a month to go!

Too bad about the snow. I think we'll be getting some on Monday.
