oh hell no...they are too much of a train wreck for me; but that makes them eerily fun to watch.  Which would make them great fun to watch on the cruise...squeeling and screaming when they got a drop of water on their extensions.

I agree on the hair comment....and, although I spent most of my life in Dallas, I have never once had big hair myself. I have grown quite partial to the pony tail lately actually. Big hair in Dallas, unfortunately, never left when 1982 went away.

Nope, sorry.  Is that your type of crowd?  I don't see those ladies enjoying snorkeling or scuba diving.  They would be too fussy about their teased hair.....which is so 1982 by the way.

(I'm now in Austin....although I was back in Dallas yesterday for an corneal specialist there. THAT was a long drive for an eye appointment! --4 hours each way--Especially in my super itsy bitsy Smart ForTwo!! Perhaps I passed ya by!)

flying out of Portland 28th evening 

We are coming from Portland Oregon where currently on the valley floor is tons and i mean tons of snow. We have literely been snowed in since sat, but we are having a good time with it... Lan and I are so looking forward to this cruise and meeting so many of you. I just booked our flights tonite and we are still on the look for hotel for the 28th and nite of 8th...We've read there's a pre-party at spring-hill? any others?

Well, I was ONCE a NY (Chappaqua) lady if that counts for you. Just for a couple years... But when they had the worst snowstorm they'd had in 40 years and my nose froze shut and my car was buried under the snow  and all you could see was the antenna and my Pomeranian disappeared when I took her out to pee...

 well, I figured it was time to move back South again.

But now I'm jealous...I WISH we had snow! Not even close this year...
