I had a student write a paper on Olivia records in one of my women's studies classes and I think she wrote that they moved to Los Angeles as a collective and then to Oakland.

Well....I figured YOU'd know, Judy......but where are all the other old Olives? It was my favorite "ablum". I probably still know all the words to all the songs.

No, that doesn't help. I'll leave this one for someone else to answer!

Here's another easy one: The founders of Olivia started in DC. Where did they move to after that?

In the early days, what famous personality wanted to do a project with Olivia records but was turned down by the founding group?

Actually, I think you are right, Evergreen. I think it's just that I wasn't really aware of Rosie until last year when she jumped the stage on the Hawaii cruise and sang along with Sweet Baby Jai "meet me with your black drawers on....." Everyone around me was saying that they were going to take up golf after that....I think Rosie was 2004 and Martina followed by Sheryl in 2005.....and WHO is next?

I believe it was Rosie Jones. Followed by Martina. Then Cheryl Swoopes.

Was "I Know You Know" before B B K'Roche?.......and about the anniversary concerts....two at Carnegie but they played the West Coast, too. (which makes 4?)....plus there was the 30th Anniversary cruise......(which was my first cruise)...which makes five.

I don't think Rosie Jones came on board until last year. I think Martina wa the first sports sponsorship, followed by Sheryl, followed by Rosie Jones.

As for "beautiful together", I'd be more inclined to ask WHY than WHEN because, really, who actually knows the words??

My trivia question: Who performed a song with these words, "Cause we're woman loving women and we'll always be..."   The artist, the year, the album????

oops First Olivia cruise was around Valentine's day in 1990.  I wanted to go but I did not travel with Olivia until 1993.

There were 2 anniversary concerts at Carnegie Hall.

The first sponsorship for women's sports: Rosie Jones.

My trivia question: When did Olivia first begin using ;"Beautiful Together"?

 how did I do?
