We did the dolphin encounter in Nassau, Bahamas. It was an awesome experience. You will have the best time you can imagine. Make sure you have a waterproof or underwater camera to take pics.

My girlfriend just informed me that we are booked for the "dolphin quest" experience in Moorea, where you get to smwim with the dolphins! How cool is that? This is something I have always wanted to do! This trip just keeps getting better and better! Can't wait!!!!

We are flying into LA on the 8th. Annie has some family in the area that we are going to try to see and maybe do some tourist stuff. We thought that a few days on the West Coast will help us to acclimate to the time difference. We did Alaska w/Olivia in 2001 and the time change killed us. We woke up every morning before 5AM.

We are staying at the Marriott near the airport-Annie is an employee so we got a great discount on the room. There are alot of hotels in the area around the airport. We should try to hook up for dinner on the 10th. :cool:

September will NEVER get here!! We can't wait!

Just saw the link while I was surfing this a.m. Deb and I are also excited about the big trip, but are so busy right now, that it's hard to start thinking about it. Seems like we just got unpacked from the Netherlands trip...so it's not easy thinking about packing up again..but what a great destination to be packing for. We will chime is when we can. We hope to see some of the local artwork... some of Paul's works, but we understand the majority of them are in France. It was terrific seeing the Van Gogh's in Amsterdam and at the Kroller-Muller museum.

We enjoy exploring local art shops and look for folk art whenever we can. We tend to prefer that over the jewelry scene, but hear that the black pearls are amazing.

We really look forward to the trip and already have a little tropical wear to pack along. Cathy and Deb

We are not on Olivia flights. We actually did all of our arrangements through a travel agent, who got us a really good deal! One cool thing is, after the cruise, we take a 10 minute flight from Papeete to Moorea! I'm sure this will give us some spectacular views of the islands! This whole trip is just going to be awesome! We booked 2 nights overwater bungalows at the Intercontinental Tahiti before the cruise, then 2 nights after the cruise in overwater bungalows at the Sheraton Moorea Spa and Resort. Still can't believe we are going! Booked it with 2 other couple friends of ours. Absolutely a trip of a lifetime!

Well, what a coinkydink this is! In this month's issue of Women's World Magazine, they have a small article and pics of different ways to tie a sarong! And Bev thinks that magazine is a waste of money! See Bev... it has helpful tips such as this! ;)
