Oops, sorry guys...the picture is kind of big!!  It took me so long to figure out how to do this that I am not going to go back and try and make it smaller.  Anyway, I guess this is my favourite thing!  It belongs to my friend though, and I used it a couple of summers ago for a week and let me tell you, it was a beautiful experience.  I woke up early each morning to sit down at the dock and watch the day begin.  I watched the birds wake up, yes and the bugs....Each morning was different because of the weather....misty, rainy....it didn't matter, I sat there.  This cabin is so enclosed, it's as if you are the only person in the whole universe!  I came home feeling such peace inside.  I enlarged some shots and framed them for my family room.....I often look at them and remember the solitude.  This is a cabin North of Ottawa, Canada,  just over the border into Quebec.

Not to be too silly but has anyone mentioned "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens" yet?  Just kidding!

My favorite things:

- Snuggling with Kim on the couch under a blanket with our dachshund nuzzling his way between us

- Sitting on a beach listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore

- Smell of fresh brewed coffee

- French fries with gravy (yummy!!)

- Hanging out with my friends and sharing lots of laughs with them

- Once we go on our first Olivia cruise in March, I'm sure that will be added to the list!
