Yes our luggage got on the bus and we eventually got to the train station. Don't those I-talians believe in escalators?

Sorry girl, I am not one for long goodbyes, but I was sad to go and was waving to you guys from the bus window...

I will post some of my pictures as soon as I clear the clouds from my brain. It is about midnight in Florence now, and I am ready to crash, forcing myself to stay up and readjust...only 3PM LA time.

By the way, in one of the later pictures there is a black circle in the water. That is where the Greek cruise ship sank a few months ago.

Actually, it was pouring rain that night and we got caught without jackets in the Jewish Ghetto. After making our way back to the hotel to change, we couldn't bear to go out in it again, so we didn't go.

Come to find out, the others didn't fare the storm either, except J and J who did show up in the rain with the shirts. Thanks Jorja and Julie for the shirts, I am wearing my right now. You gals are the bomb.

We did meet up the first sea day at our forum lunch. I hope the pictures of the masquerade and toga parties came out. We had a BLAST.

ok y'all we are home from It-lee. Our plane was also delayed, I think that is the norm. After 27 hours travel we finally got into our bed at midnight LA time. I took a few chocolates from the ship and placed one on Nickie's pillow last night! I will have to work on the towel critters.

We too had a fabulous time and Florence was spectacular. We jumped to Lucca and to Rome in a flurry, no books, no maps, no plans. So unlike me...

Will check back in later, we gotta go get our doggies.

Thanks to this forum we made some awesome friends, you know who you are. Can't wait to go through the pictures.

Just want you to know I couldn't get PJ to sing publicly, though I got an earful sitting next to her, at karaoke! Heck, we were all going to dance when Sgt Patch did Elvis but she wouldn't cooperate then either!

What a wonderful journey, ladies....thanks for the memories.....we look forward to many more!

I'd say my favorite place was Venice, followed by Kusadasi. Ours seems to have been the only bus that didn't try to go to old town in Kusadasi and we had a lovely ride in the countryside with a stop at an old mill where they had drinks and snacks for us served by people in native costumes. Kusadasi was the only green place we visited. I didn't realize that the Greek Isles are almost barren - like desert.
We met lots of great folks on the boat and the entertainment was extraordinary. Many, many pictures to go through.

PJ, are ya'll back from Florence yet? We want to hear about that. I just hope someone got a picture of Nikki leading the Conga line. "I'm tired, oooh, let's dance!"
