On the Resort tab right above the photos there's a link to a map.  It's not the best in the world, but you can supplement it with Google...

We are in the Ovando room 078.  Anyone know where I can find a map of the resort area so I can see the layout and the proximity of our room to everything else?

We are in the Pizarro building room 15. Seems far away from everything but doesn't really matter when you are on vacation!!! 25 weeks and counting!!

I love researching travel as well...maybe a fun retirement job??  What is a PV site?

My partner supports my hobby--she does not mind when we end up in the oceanfront suite for the price of a standard room (never on an Olivia trip) or when our airplane seats have more legroom, etc.  ...  when I am doing my travel research we call it "playing vacation"!

Thanks Rachel!!!  I also research everything and saw this link on Club Med insider.  My other half think that I am crazy because I too research...and research more.  I really should be in the tourism industry.  I think I'm on tripadvisors, orbitz, club med insider and various PV sites almost daily.  This is totally fun for me!!!!

Thank you, Cindy!  This list is great.  I can add the intel that categories C1, C2, and C3 are in the Pizarro, Cortez and Colon buildings.  These rooms were the first to sell out.  they have no balconies, but were a lot less expensive than the other rooms.  Since I have been on several Olivia vacations and KNOW we will spend very little time in the room, we booked one of these.  We are in Pizarro 115 or 116...

Also, here is my contribution for those of you who, like me, enjoy researching and fantasizing about the vacation: http://www.clubmed-ip.com/cm/resort-punta-cana-dominican-rep-accommodations_p-115-l-US-SITE-B2B-v-PCAC-r-2-d-000009-SITE-B2B-ac-vh.html .  This is the travel agent link for room categories at the club...so you see all the categories and locations, etc.  Note: Olivia's categories are not necessarily the same as the ones listed on the web-site--but with a bit of effort you can figure it out---many are the same.  Have fun!
