Gee, I wish I had read your message earlier.  We just came back from visiting friend on Lake of the Ozarks.  We spent the night in Muscogee. It would have been just as easy to have gone on to Tulsa met you all.  Let's plan to meet sometime this fall.  We are going  to Galveston for a week on the 6th of October and camping with friends at Lake Tawakoni (east TX) the first weekend in November, but other than that we have no  plans.  If you can't get to Dallas, we could meet you for a weekend in OKC.  

A little information about us.  We are both retired. Mary will be 74 in October and I am 65. We do water aerobics 3-6 times a week.  We love to travel.  My daughter, Andrea, is going on the cruise with us.  She went on the Alaska cruise with us and had a great time. She is 44 and unattached, but I hope she will meet someone special on this trip.  We have two grandchildren or maybe I should say grandadults.  Andrea has a son who is 22 and my son has a daughter who is 18. who lives in the Tampa area. We have a great group of friends also, but we could not get any of them to go on this trip either.  We have been talking about a short cruise leaving Galveston for a bunch of us.  

Lol and Howdy, WaterSprite! My spouse Tresa and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary on this trip. We enjoy a great community of women friends here in Tulsa, but we won't know anyone on board since this is our first Olivia cruise.While we are excited about meeting new friends, it would be nice to get to know some women in advance! Soooo, here's the stats: I'll be 52, work for the post office, president of the Diversity Arts Association of Oklahoma,  Air Force retiree.Tresa will be 58, and she works for Sprint customer service. We both enjoy lake and river (trout) fishing, boating, singing in a community choral group, Sisters in Song (SiS), texas hold-um, and believe in spoiling the grandkids before sending them home! You two are even close enough for us to meet for a weekend get away in Dallas. Lord knows, it would be nice to have a mini vacation! Anyone else intrested in "advance booking" friendships?

I am a native born Texan.  My spouse and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary with the 40th Anniversary 2nd week cruise. I would like to get to know some people before the trip so we don't feel as stressed about meeting people. This will be our 4th Olivia vacation. One  the last one, it seemed that so many women already knew each other.  We live in Frisco, TX which is north of Dallas.  I would love to hear from some of you.

 

Fellow Texan right here! I'm orginally from Texas while my girlfriend is originally from Hawaii, where we both happen to live and work now. My family is still in Arlington and I'm sure we will get back there for a visit. Maybe we can all connect sometime after the cruise. It would be nice to keep in touch with people who've shared what I can only imagine will be an awesome experience.

No the Texans are not on the down low we are just busy keeping Austin weird and the rest of the world. Ch1ck I live in the Austin area to be exact in Georgetown TX. I would say let's meet but currently the wife and I are overseas doing what we do. I will tell you all about it over cocktails when we get back that way in August. Have you heard of the Lesbian dances at Dusty Spur once a month? If so they are many Olivian ladies that frequent this event. 

We need to exchange info so we can set up a meet and greet. I will only be there for about a week.
