I have never actually had magnets work on any of the doors for me - they have a metal frame, but the actual door material is actually a composite wood  - again, I have not been on this ship in particular, but you should be prepared with another form of attachment just in case magnets don't work... Thought you should be warned so you can be prepared - just in case! LOL

Thanks for getting back to me. I contacted the cruise line and they stated that the doors are metallic and small magnets will hold.

Very good ?.... Don't remember if the doors were steel, just always have used the tacky stuff for holding everything up.......maybe someone else knows the answer to that. How 'bout you sleddog,you are ALLWAYS our best resource for any of our ?'s.

We did this once before with a large group of ladies that all came together with us on the Caribbean Sun Cruise in Oct 2010. It was alot of fun, so we thought we'd try it again with the whole ship. Should be interesting!!!!

Now that this trip is coming right down to the wire, I want to make one last push to remind everyone to bring their door cecorations.( your door will be easy to locate on those days IF & WHEN you have a little too much to drink) Your door can be as simple or elaborate as you like.....just put up some'thin!! Door decorations can be anything that says something about YOU!  Photos, posters, decals, stickers.... the list is endless. Just rember to bring some tacky putty ( can get at $ store ) so everything that is put on you door will come off easily @ the end of the cruise. Soraya & I will check out all the decorations and give a prize for the best door. We are really looking forward to seeing all the GREAT DOORS!!! 12 days to our cruise departure. It's really hard to WAIT!
