the weather forecast looks better each day...at least on accuweather! Big Smile

We have actually seen good shows in the Juneau & Haines area...which is about as far north as this cruise goes this time

Now...if we can all just keep up the positive Olivia weather vibes...and have clear skies...then we have a good chance!!!

The web site posted by sleddog has a link for auto email notification when there is a high chance of seeing the lights. We signed up a couple of days ago, the direct link for sign up is http://www2.gi.alaska.edu/mailman/listinfo/gse-aa   Apparently a lot of the sites are talking about the night of 22nd being the best time don't know if that's true or not.

Fingers crossed we hope to see it. Do the ship let you know if whales, lights etc are spotted? If not the shift system is a great idea you can put us down to take a turn.

Thats a good idea sled, I will do a night shift  watching  for lights if some one will do a morning shift keeping an eye out for for whales.

I was reading recently one of the best ways to ensure you see the Aurora Borealis, drink a lot of water before you go to bed.  Wink
