That's weird Angel and just bought ours on line along with a parking pass. Maybe it was down that day?  Shes florida resident so she got a nice discount. Should be a great day!

For those wishing to go to Busch Gardens for a day from out of state and trying to find some discounts.  I have one that you can take advantage of.  Go to this site:  http://www.ticketsatwork.com/affiliates/beneplace/packages.php?sub=packages&action=view&id=79

If you scroll down to the very bottom, there is an option for a special ticket price, which is about the cost of a child's ticket normally (which is the current online advertised special), but in addition, this option gets you a full meal too (entree, appetizer/side, drink) along with your admission.  So you get discounted ticket and a meal, for ~ $65.  The meal alone would normally be about $15. ($8 for meal, $4 for side, $3 for drink + tax).  So this may prove your best discount that you are going to find.

The hotels have discount coupons too, usually for $3-$6 off per person, so this is better.

The good thing, is that you can get this as an e-ticket for your purchase to make park entry quick and easy.

IF needed to check out, you can use the password code "HONEY".  I don't think it will be needed though.

If you are staying any nights at the host hotel, you can park it there I believe.  Many park at the garage across the street from the boat as well.  (I would invite you to park it at our house, but we are clear across the bay and have to get transportation to the boat ourselves too on Sunday.)

Can't wait to see you guys again, too bad you can't make the gardens. Bunny what time do you plan on leaving friday and are you staying at the host hotel?? I was able to get a room for thursday so we will drive from Miami and be in Tampa sometime thursday afternoon. I need to find a place to park my car for the week we are on the cruise, do you know anywhere?

Thanks for the legwork Aussie!

I think they also have discounts for active military (free!) and veterans/disabled vets too I believe (not free, but maybe a discount).

I called Busch Gardens about a group discount.  For 15 or more people the price would be $62.95USD each.  However, there is paperwork that must be filled out at least one week prior to the trip.  The gate price is $74.95, but we could all buy the tickets online for $64.95.  http://www.buschgardens.com/Bgt/default.aspx Just a couple dollars more and no paperwork!  There might be a discount for AAA members also.  For Florida residents only, the fun card is $69.95 if anyone is interested in that.

I'm not sure if I'm coming.  But I live in the area, so will have transportation.

Hmm...group discount...I didn't consider that, but I assumed we were getting our yearly passes when we went.  I don't know if we can since everyone is mixed in and out of state.  We can find out though!  It could save a few dollars.  We'll also collect up some coupons that save us a little $$$ too.  The Entertainment Books offer discounts for up to 6 people, so I'll see if I can get a couple of those.  They're the best.  There are also coupon books in all the hotels to save a little too.

Forn anyone interested, I also picked up a wad of coupons for the Aquarium.  Since it is right there at Channelside and next to teh port, MANY folks will visit the aquarium on Saturday.  It's actually a great, very open, and educational one.

Gosh I wish we could go on this but can't.  Everyone have fun.  Looking forward to seeing you Connie and Angel.  I have to make up for when I got sick on the last trip.  Promise (praying) no cold this trip.

Hey Bunny;

Count me and Angel in, I will try to get a room earlier at the hotel. We are driving from Miami so we will have a car. Worse case we will drive in on friday morning. IS there a group discount?
