With all the back to back company we have had the last 3 weeks I slipped a bit, but surprisingly didn't gain much of anything back that I had lost!  I guess all the activity helped despite the cheating!  haha

But we are getting back on the diet train again. Even though Weasel doesn't need it, she's become so used to eating extra healthy that as soon as our company left, she was begging for tomatoes and healthy, non-fried foods!  So I guess it is a "we" diet, even though its just me who needs it!  haha

Great minds think along the same lines....and I don't have the excuse that the company has just left!!! I am pretty good on the what I eat part of things, but to get out and do the walking, maybe half the days I should, I actually do.  I have decided to go through some older photo albums to see if I can find a photo where I was closer to where I want to be and post it where I can see it every day.  Maybe I'll staple or tape it to the shorts I still have that am not yet into for a double dose of inspiration.

I know that I am worth becoming healthier, and that I will receive great joy from better health and less weight...I am still working on my belief that I can make it happen.  I really need to check out what the local gym has to offer...walking is great, but I feel the need for some exercise equipment to help me tone.  Any ideas on what works best for that.....Eileen, what are your thoughts? I believe you are an exercise gal!!!

I like your idea, Bunny,IndifferentYes about getting prepped for all we have to do once we are on board.  Thinking of the exercise as a way to be able to dance all night sounds perfect....maybe I should attach a dance cd to those shorts as well!!!

ok, the company is all gone now.  we had a surprise visit that lasted another 3 days from Weasel's mom stopping in, so I probably gained back a bunch of what I lost.  *sigh.  gotta sadly check the scale and see how bad the damage was!

We should get back into the healthy groove though pretty easily.  Both of us are now craving our fruits and veggies! -Bunny food!

Keep at it gals, and think about excercising as preparation for all the walking you'll have to do on your excursions!  Prepping for that is my motivation!  I don't want to be all sore and unable to enjoy everything there is to do each night!

woohoo!  Less than 6 months, and these are the "fast months" of the year coming up with all the holidays, birthdays, and local activities!

OMG CW I have the same problem.  I have gained so much weight this year.  I had health issues went to physical therapy and now have the ability to excercise and dont.  I have an eliptical, tread mill and a state of the art body solid gym, and use none of it........yikes.....and a I have a gym membership......I wish I could get motivated............I think part of it is that I work all day and feel "entitled" to lounge around and do nothing afterwards which is so wrong. The best time for me is to get up in the morning and just do it, even 15 minutes.....hellllllllllp.  And CW I live in NJ maybe we can kick one anothr in the ***....what do you think!!!  Congrats to all of you for such a wonderful thread and keeping up with your regimes.....sigh.......hugs val

P.S. the snacking I do after 7pm till 9 pm definitely does not help!!

Bunny & Weasel - I'm so happy to hear of all the things happening in your lives.  Lets see...Graduation - Big Congrats Bunny;  Engagement - WOW!!!!!  When's the big day?  You quit smoking Weasel?  I hate you!  And Bunny, you're losing weight???  Guess what, I think I found it!  AND YOU LIVE IN THE 'SUNSHINE' STATE????  You guys just have it all.  I'M SO GLAD YOU'VE HAD SUCH A STELLAR YEAR!!!!!

Now about this weight thing, I NEED HELP!!!!!  Just can't seem to get motivated enough to start exercising.  I have all I need in my basement and my health care gives me a FREE gym membership!  SOMEBODY PLEASE COME TO NEW JERSEY AND GIVE ME A SWIFT KICK IN THE ***...SERIOUSLY!!!!!

I'm gonna "take off" this weekend, since we have friends coming.  I guess all the added activity we have planned will even it all out.  haha!

what's your method....??? Trying to be mindful of what choices I make, getting physically moving every day, smaller portions, better food choices.....better respect for my body...(probably that should read respect for my body) old patterns take longer to adjust!!Tongue Tied
