Yes, Jana, we were, but just we now changed our minds.  We heard where others are staying, and we decided to go to the place nearest to PVP and which is such a deal.

You all will actually be right near the Vallarta Palace Resort

There is also a local bus (ATM) that will take you to the Paradise Village Resort

But if you have never been to PV and used the bus system there ~ you're probably better off with taking a cab.

Hi valerie,  we arrive about 1:30, maybe all of us could meet up and arrange for a van to take us to the hotel?

I left this same message for the other group staying at the same hotel -- so will also ask you if you all coming in on the American airlines flight from Dallas arriving at 12:45? If so, and there is no wrong answer here, would you be interested in meeting to share a ride to the hotel?

As I said, I travel a fair amount but not in Mexico so if it works would rather share a ride with others. Otherwise we can connnect as it gets closer and all find a time and place to meet at the hotel.

Yes, there will be 3 of us from Chicago.  I think our flight gets in around 1 so we will see you all there.  I will be with my partner Kathy, and our solo friend Molly.  We are looking forward to this resort as well.  We were in Columbus Isle, and loved that resort.

It will be nice to meet you all for dinner and drinks somewhere.

Anissa and Torris,

How great! That makes me feel better already. I get in around 12:30 I think so meeting for drinks/dinner would be great. I did not fill out all the questions in my profile because I was feeling punk from oral surgery yesterday...but will get to it at some point.

So just a bit about me -- I am in the thick of writing a book right now (which is why i need this vacation). Happy to tell you all about it when we meet up.

Let's reconnect once the time gets closer. Thanks again.

Coming in a day early - Staying a day later -- hotel question...

Hi All,

I SOOO need this vacation and looking forward to my first ground trip (vs. cruise) with Olivia.

I booked myself at Paradise Village Beach Resort & Spa for the 13th and 22nd -- day before and after the Olivia stay. I "think" it's close to the Vallarta Palace Resort, looks very nice, and is $89.

If others are staying at a different place you'd like to recommend, or have any experience with this one, it would be great to connect as I am traveling solo. Any advice on ground transportation to this location? I am considering rebooking on the last night to be closer to the airport for a 9 am return trip.

Also interested in connecting with people who would like to explore Old Town as I think someone posted here that this was a nice place to visit.

Looking forward to lots of good food, LOTS of laughing, lounging, and meeting new friends.

 Valerie
