Good for you!  But, yanno, NO ONE said anything about paying bills!  Snowdays are meant to be ENJOYED!!!

btw - NH wasn't 'sposed to get any of the snow forecasted for MA.  It's now been snowing since about 10:30 and it only looks to be increasing in volume!! 

Good advice, peeps.  I am now sitting in front of our fireplace, drinking coffee, paying bills       , and chatting with ya'll. 

We do have a house full of cats and our dog enjoying the fireplace too.  We just had to bring in all of our barn cats.  We even considered bringing in the horses as well.  Then thought better of it.   LOL

Heard about the cold weather moving way down south......crazy.

Youve received the best advise and thats to stay at home until its over.  Even if you know how to drive on ice, others dont and multiple car pile ups happen and you dont need that at this time or ever.

Take the day and pack as this too shall pass.

It's still bloody cold (-37 C before windchill) I will be so ready for Mexico, I hope I don't melt!

I'm hearing that this winter is like non other in the mid-west. Makes me grateful to live in California. Tomorrow is 69 degrees. I might actually have to put on a long sleeved T-shirt.  SORRY!!!  But I have no idea what anything under 30 feels like...What really scares me is watching people driving on the ice on the news.....

Here in Louisiana we are supposed to go down to 20 tonight, with a wind chill of 7 degrees.  It's supposed to be colder tomorrow and Saturday as well.  That's unheard of down here!  We've had rain, and major winds this evening and expected throughout the night.  They are also expecting a lot of iced roads tonight so most all the schools in middle and northern Louisiana are closed tomorrow.  (That includes my school - woohoo).  You've got to understand that no one in this part of the country know how to drive on icy roads, nor do we have snow plows or snow shovels.
