Hi solo travelers,
Finally a long summer schedule behind me and nothng but counting the days until Olivia fun ahead. There are actually 6 of us making the trip, 2 couples and 2 solos. Yep I'm one of the solo's along with a friend of mine, we actually met as solo travelers on another Olivia cruise. We meet chatting on line like this before the other cruise and have been good friends since. So I thought I'd get to know some fellow travelers again before we board in Instanbul.
Counting the days.....Geri

Hi all
I'm actually making enquiries about other tours available out of Kusadasi. If you log on to the Azamara Club Cruises website and put in the cruise details - date of sailing - you will be able to see the tours that are available.
One thing I can guarentee you will not be disappointed with is the food. Being a 5 star cruise ship with food at the top you will have your choice of anything you can possibly imagine. Besides the delicious dinning room, there are two speciality restaurants, one is called Aqualina and is Medditerannean themed. The other is, Prime C which feautures a more hearty menue with delicious sea foods and steaks. No matter what you are looking for you will find :)
OK, I didn't page down & read your other posts!!!
Thanks for the info on Kusadasi. All I remember from the town were the stores selling leather goods & carpets! Wasn't sure about the beaches. Yes, we'll probably spend most of the day onboard & enjoy the pool.
What snow? It's been between 90 - 110 degrees & sunny here in Southern Ontario on many days since May.
Can't get any gardening done.....darn it!!!!
Where are you sailing now?
Looking forward to meeting you too!
Ill bet you cant wait for some sun after being up in the snow!
Hey there Joan and Jeri!
I look forward to meeting you too! Ill have to take another look at your itinerary since I dont have it in front of me and get back to you. Do you have any specific ports off hand?
Can you imagine if something like Olivia came to your work? haha, Im the excited one
:)
Hi there Julie!
Well ironically enough, we just left Kusadasi and I have to say the beaches here are not the best since they tend to be over crowded. Fortunately, there are a lot of nice things to explore around the port especially with your itinerary it might be nice to have a day to relax. With free internet right around the corner (starbucks) and a lot of little shops and restaurants right off the ship, I say dont make plans and just take advantage and have the whole pool to yourself. If your set on beaches, they might not be the best but I really have never heard of a bad beach.
:) hope this helps!
Aye Ctcaptain…looking forward to traveling with you on your/our ship!
I'll add to Jeri & Joan's question. We are particularly interested in beaches in Kusadasi. Since we wont be doing the Ephasus tour (Did it before) we plan to hang out close to the ship, hopefully on a great beach.
Julie
