Hey DriqFX, you are going to love Ixtapa. the most stressful thing all week was trying to decide to go to the beach or the pool! LOL the food was awesome, the company was outstanding and the only bummer was NOT ENOUGH TIME to meet everone! Sleddog and I had conversed here on the forum before the trip but only met once breifly at the main restaurant and had a lovely time waiting for our sad flight home! I am looking forward to spending more time catching up.
Hey Sleddog, what can you tell me about the other rooms at the resort? we were over in the "Iguana" building. It was obviously the family section (in non Olivia times) We liked it because it was pretty central but far enough that the evenings "thumpa-thumpa" did not keep us early birds awake. But I didn't even know there was another pool on the other side of the resort until the last day!
Also, I was wondering, The area is so humid, that nothing dried. Pulling on a still wet and cold bathing suit in the morning is kind of an eye opening experience!! there was a slight wet towel smell to our room. While it wasn't bad, I did notice it. Is that true of the other rooms?
