I can proudly say that we have done Toronto Gay Pride and the Dyke March the night before.

It was great!  At Pride ~ I spotted two men carrying a Mexican flag ~ so we asked if we could march with them because my father was from Chihuahua, Mexico.  Turns out he was from Chihuahua and had moved to Toronto to marry his boyfriend.  We all had a great time!!!

I meant to add Sleddog....have you ever been to Toronto Gay Pride?  Millions of people attend. I think it's one of the biggest in North America. Lots of fun.

Ooh, Whitehorse? Too cold for my sensitive body. We love Southern Ontario where we enjoy wonderful warm summers & relatively mild winters.

Glad you enjoy it in the Yukon Sleddog. Pictures I've seen have been absolutely gorgeous.

Ok Stumpy, we'll allow you one or two flakes of snow & no more! We like Spring to be "springing" come April.

In an ideal world, here, it would only snow from Xmas Eve to New Year's Day. The rest of the year would be sunny & warm days with plenty of rain to sustain our planet (Especially the golf course) but only falling at night!!!!!!!!! Not too much to ask is it?!?

Evergreen - If I get the chance would love to catch up.  I do know we're going to be spending a weekend at Niagara Falls.  I want to see the lakes as well.   Hopefully there is still some snow around as I've never seen snow in my entire life.  Always wanted my first time to be in Canada.

I'm coming after the cruise.  I'm actually staying with NAF.  Why do you ask 2 dogs??? :)  Have you got some suggestions for things I should do?

Evergreen, I haven't seen women's ice hockey on TV.  We'd suck at that, lack of ice plays a part in that!  Most of us can't even stand up on ice skates.... hahahah  There are teams in most states but the comp is very small.

Field hockey is more our go.  Ice hockey is great and when I'm over there next (March/April 08) I hope to get to a game.  Not sure when the season ends though.

It's exciting over here at the moment as it's our footy season's finals.  This weekend is the Grand final for Australian Rules and Rugby League.  Then we get into the cricket season.  Summer is coming!

We usually follow women's soccer but we missed it this time.Good on you mate, for advancing. (I should be using Australian lingo as my sister & neice from near Melbourne were just here for 2 weeks!!) Too bad we lost though.

Did you ever watch women's ice hockey? Now our Canadian girls excel at that, as do the Americans. We have a long standing competition with them every meeting!

Not sure if anyone has been following the women's soccer world cup...  Australia drew with Canada 2 all last night (Aust time) which put Australia 1 point above Canada in their pool and allowed us to advance to the quarterfinals.  This is a huge deal for Australia as we have never been this far before but I would have prefered it was another team, other than my favourite Northern Hemisphere country, that we pushed out of a spot.. OH well!!
