Go to www.sho.com and click on the L-word, and then message boards. There is more comments, questions, ideas, than I can get through in one day. I logged on Monday morning to find thousands of posts on the most recent episode. I understand even the L-word staff check out the posts!

Hello everyone! Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a transcript (or something like that) out there of the Q&A with the cast?

Or, would anyone who was on the cruise be able to give some details about the questions that were asked and answered?

Hi Jeri,
I have watched episodes 1,2, and 3. There seems to be something for everyone except the "OWL's. It is great to watch all the beautiful womyn hugging and kissing and "getting it on", but I feel the real world is just a bit more complicated and interesting :) than the plots of the episodes I viewed.
I was never a series watcher and I don't think this one is going to change that. I like real life so I'll put away the VCR and open the door to the real life lesbians I enjoy. See you In April 04.

Vicky,
I understand your concerns but those things happen everyday - straight world, gay world... And not only on TV.. As soon as the girl knocked on the door looking for her girlfriend I figured out where she was. Because this is the only window that we have do you think the show should be based on only good things or based more on the reality that we live with everyday...

HIHO322 I so agree with you. I love the LWord. I can relate to you saying that people ask which one is the guy - unbelievable that those questions are still asked. My partner and I are very femine - I am still trying to figure out why that should be a problem. The part that shocks me the most is that question is asked by other lesbians!

Finally, finally FINALLY, a show I can relate to! My girlfriend and I have been together for over 16 years and are both feminine and pretty (but tough) and have had a hard time finding women our age (mid-late 40's) that accept us for who we are. We've gotten many questions from other lesbians like: "So who's the guy?" which absolutely shocked us. We thought by this point in time that lesbians - and straights - would understand that there are so many variations and you don't have to follow the hetero model if you don't want to. I am a singer/songwriter/actress living in NYC and I totally identify with all the women in The L-Word, even though I'm a bit older than they are. They're beautiful and smart and not afraid to be themselves. And I love the fact that they're not overly political, and that they have fun (breaking yet another stereotype). It's not only gay men who have a good time, and this show proves that. And, oh, by the way, I had a group of buddies (all lesbians) in the mid-80's who were all like the girls on the show. We had a blast!

Well, I have watched all 4 shows so far and although I am happy that "we" have a show , I am disappointed about a few points-
1) desperation to have children in a relationship that (at least in first show) seemed very rocky
2) willingness to deceive some guy and both sleep with him to get his sperm
3) lack of morals -- Marina is good friends with Tim yet has no remorse at seducing and sleeping with his fiancee.
4)lack of morals- someone knocks at a friend's door looking for her gfriend, home owner pretends she doesn't know while the "lost gfriend" is in her bed.

If I was a straight person watching this, I would not be too sympathetic to lesbians. Yes, it's just a show and "straight"TV has these things going on all the time...true but this is the ONLY "window" into Lesbians that the outside world has right now and it's not too favorable.

I love The "L" Word. When I first heard about the show airing, I had mixed emotions. After the first episode, I AM HOOKED!! I like that fact that they are beautiful, intelligent and have careers. I am very happy that it was picked up for a second season and I look forward to it going as far as Sex and the City.

Of course we love it! The show is ground breaking. Great acting, I watch for the kissing to judge, good story lines, lots of fun. We saw the premier on the Olivia Cruise, now that was some group experience! Signed up for Showtime when we got home. Our only challenge now is staying up till 10pm on Sunday night to watch and then needing to do something with all that engery :>)

I am really into this show now, more than when it started. I missed 1 show so of course I had to do catch-up. I sat and watched all 3 one evening. I could see the development of the characters better and story lines are getting better. The guest stars have been an added pleasure bringing in more depth and familiar faces.

We invited our friends over on Valentines for an L-Word marathone...

I love the show so much! So much that I wanted to be a lesbian! All that sex!? And me and three of my girlfriends fitting into a mini Cooper? Well it is beyond my comprehension! I love it. Soft porn?

I definitely enjoy it. Is it my life? No, but I doubt Friends reflects the life of my straight friends. Not everyone is rich and pretty, but hey, they are fun to watch. And Jennifer Beals? Hot hot hot!

Great news Jeri! Thanks for letting us know. We are certainly talking up the show to all of our friends...and telling them to support Showtime!
