Heh all. One of the galz on the Hawaii thread periodically has posted various obscure bits of trivia and factual information that seems to have been a great hit with the readers. Thought perhaps a place for others to add their own would be worth a try! Hoping we can coax Inde to share some gems (put the beer down, say heh to the laydeez, and take a bow for being the inspiration for the thread). Don't let her tell ya she is shy either ...anyone on the Hawaii thread knows that's total BUNK!
Ok..so to start us off:
The poison arrow frog has enough poison to kill about 2,200 people. (so plan to be the 2201th person it meets if possible)
In ancient Rome it was considered a sin to eat the flesh of a woodpecker (hmm..methinks that one might still hold in many places)
