Howdy to all the new people that are signing up and to all that have been here to date.   It will be nice to meet everyone.   I"m looking forward to this trip, do some excursions and do some relaxing on the beach.   

I like to research out trips and have started doing some info. gathering on this trip already.  Like places to stay in Ft.Lauderdale, the stops and what to do when there,and excursions that may be offered.  When I get a bit more will post. 

I also like to plan out meet and greets for the group, like the night b/4 we board the ship and when on the ship where to meet up at.  Also like to have other fun things planned for people, so stay tuned, join in and be part of "IT".

Chaka, sorry to hear your daugher can't come.  I've never been on an Olivia cruise, but have cruised many other times.  You will love it.  I was always planning on going on one with my partner at the time but it never worked out....so I decided to take the plunge, make the reservation and see what happens.  In a year there could be someone that I want to bring or just go to relax and meet new people.  Either way...what a great vacation to look forward to.

Yahoo, how is it going out there?  Everybody ready for the Holiday? 

MJean an Michelle, it was good to see the two of you in Mexico, almost missed ya, the place was big and was great!  Had a blast and can hardly wait to be out on a ship again, this time to the Bean! 

We will have a spot for all of us to meet up at on the ship and if anyone is going b/4 the trip date.  /always fun to get in b/4 a day or two and to stay a day or two afterwards to relax b/4 going back home. 

I am in the process of gathering info., love to do research of these trips, MJean and Michelle can attest to that, via the Mexico site, right.  So keep cking in and posting, time will fly by and it is fun to chit chat.

Well, I'm a little bummed.  Was wanting to go with my daughter who will be 18 (and currently identifies as lesbian), but just saw that she needs to be 21.  Stil might go.  Maybe alone, maybe drag along a friend.  Have never cruised before.  Good to see the info on the rooms--that I don't have to have a window or 1,000 sq. ft. to be comfortable!  For those of you who have gone before, what is the approximate percentage of couples and singles?  Oh, and I would vote for Ellen for sure!!  I love Melissa too, but miss her singing the stuff from the Julie days--some of my favorite songs.  Well, just checking things out--looking for reviews, etc.

Well I am presently trying to survive the first snow storm of the season!!!  About 6 inches out there now!  Michelle & I just came back from Puerta Vallarta...  Fabulous trip!  Fabulous resort!  While we were there we booked this trip...  I have never been on a cruise but Michelle has (not with me and a straight one!)  She is doing this for me...  She really wants to do Turks, so I am hoping that this cruise will be unbelievable!!!  As all of you I am sure that you would love to win that GREAT prize of one trip a year for the rest of your life!!!  So who has everyone voted for to see...  We voted for the Queen :0)

Okay so the trip is a long ways away but I am sure that it will be here sooner than we think!!  Happy and Safe Holidays everyone!!!

Hi ladies!  My name is Lexi and my partner Serena and I are so excited for the Birthday Bash - our first ever Olivia cruise.  We too were questioning what room to book; me--never been on a cruise before and am motion sickness, we thought a room with a window was best, but our travel agent from Olivia ensured us that mid-ship was best for those prone to motion sickness.  So we got an inside state room! And the money saved is always good ;)  We can't wait to celebrate our fifth year anniversary together on Olivia and we hope to be surprised like all the promos say we will be! 

 

Yes, hope all of you had a great Turkey day and will have a great Christmas, and if you do not celebrate that, then just have a goood one any way you can.

Hope more join in and start to chat.  I have found that themore topics that are created the more confusing it can become, so have found that most people will ck this topic page, so just ask question here rather than creating a new topic.  One can change the topic here w/i this topic.  Well hope that this will help keep things simple, one site had so many topic listed that it was overwhelming and many did not get read, so let us try to stay here on this topic if we can, just an suggestion.

Glad to hear that you had such a great time.  I am just counting the days (less then 365 now) until the 35th Birthday Bash Cruise.  I'm sure as the time draws closer more people will join the group.  Hope everyone has a happy holiday.

Hello to all that ck into this site!

Well Mexico was great!!  Everything was just fab., the people, the excursions, the weather, the entertainers, the Olivia staff, and oh so much more!   Loved it!  So many things to do, to see and so little time to do it all.  I went down two days b/4 the Olivia event, and stayed 5 days after the event.  Really did have the opportunity to do more than most.  Did 10 excursions in 7 days, whew, I need a vacation from the vacation.  LOL, really.   The others days where filled with shopping in the old part of town of PVR, and chillin' at the beach.  The day b/4 I left, actually slowed down enough to make it to the beach with nothing to do but sit in the sun and have some cold ones, now that was a great day.  It was fun playing in the strong waves that come thundering into the beach. 

Ok, well hope at least one of you are cking into the site to see who has joined in and what is happening in general.  It is fun to chit chat, get to know one another from here, so hope some of you will chat back with whatever ya want.

I just reserved my room for the Nov 2008 Birthday Bash.  I can't wait.  I've cruised before...but never with Olivia.  I'm currently going Solo (just broke up) but hoping by then not to be.  Look forward to talking over the next year and meeting in person down in Florida.  Enjoy your holiday's ladies.  Judy

Hum, good question, would think that you could book esp. since you turn b/4 our trip takes place.  Give Olivia a call and ask them and let me know.  I do know that in their catolog it states that one must be 21 to travel with Olivia.

Thanks for replying and giving us the info on the room picking process. We have decided we want the penthouse or a Deluxe Verandah. I really want the Penthouse though. LOL I like all the space I guess!

We Im so excited and I still have a full year! Its crazy. Let me ask you another question. Im not 21 yet but will be in January can I still book a room on the cruise or do you have to be 21 in order to book as well?
