I love all these stories, here is ours:
Maureen and I met 26 years ago at Buger King we were 15, and bacame the best of friends. At the time niether one of us knew that we would end up together. I got married and had two children, Maureen joined the Army got married and one day wrote me to tell me she was a lesbian, which I have to say was a shock, she will tell you that I didn't handle it well, but to my knowledge I did. As the years went by we stayed int touch she was stationed in Germany and I didn't see her very often. About 5 years later my marriage eneded in a horrible divorce should have never married this man(lol) and I had my first realtionship witha women, Maureen popped up with her partner at the time Sharon, we met for lunch and it just didn't seem like the right time to tell her that I was also a lesbian..... We lost touch for about 2 years and my relationship with Cindy had justed ended I searched every box that I owned to find Maureens phone number she was living in BUffalo Ny and I was in MA. I found the number and When she heard my voice I thought she would fall off her chair, she was coming to MA. to vist family and we decided that we would get together, she was with her girlfriend, and she didn't like me at all, I told Maureen about the relationship that I just had gotten out of, this time it was her turn to be shocked, we talked on the phone every night for hours, she invited me and my daughter courtney to vist over memorial day weekend, after a few drinks and conversation we had our first kiss, (if you see her on the ship she will tell you it was me that kissed her)both of us had that heart dropping feeling, I moved to Buffalo 2 months later and now we are getting ready to buy a house in SC. and have been together for 3 years, we plan on doing the commiment ceremony on the cruise. It is a wonderful feeling to know the person that you are going to spend the rest of your life with is also you best friend. (Hopefully I didn't ramble on too much , my minds goes so much faster than my fingers)
