So, have you already read my "travel tips"  topic?  Several tips listed.  What to expect is a wonderful trip, just smile, say hello, and the rest just happens on an Olivia trip.  Kinda like going to the D-Land, la-la land.  The excursions run thru the ship/Olivia are good and may be more, but worth doing thru them and not an outside vendor.  If anything happens on the ships excursion, the ship will wait for you if delayed.  Otherwise, S.O.L. .

Also, the goup gift!  Bring  some stuff to exchange with all the people on this chat board.  Get those ideas a flowin'!!!

To tigeralicea, welcome aboard!   Who was it that said that the first is the best?  Is that true?  Hum, well any way ya look at it one of these trips are great, will be fun to meet and greet!!  How  wonderful to of gone to the Turks for all those years, sweet!!  Yes, through this board and just being on this trip, you will have fun, meet friends, feel love and loved and laugh so much you wish you would of just packed the sweat pants.  Expansion happens, one way or another.  tee-hee. 

There is always something going on, and there are several spots with nothing going on.  Catering to all.  If one does not have a good time, then one is indeed in need of a re-evaluation of oneself.  Whew!

So bring on the specfic questions and an answer should appear, hopefully.

Hey folks...me and mine just booked our trip and are very excited.  This will be our first Olivia cruise, and my first cruise EVER!!!. A bit nervous about being confined to a cabin so anything you can say to ease the nerves will be helpful.  We, however, have been going to Turks every year for the past 8 years and absolutely love it.  So what can we expect on this excursion?  Fun, friends, love, laughter?  What?  Please tell us!

Hey Indie, just mainly any kind of tips. What we might need to bring, excursions, parties. The most I've ever been around a group of all women has been at gay pride. This will surely be a treat.Just don't know what to expect. Anyone know who when they are going to annouce the headliner for the cruise???

Yes, time is a ticking, and glad for that!  Eight months will come up on us sooner than we think. 

Does anyone already have there hotel booked?  If so, list it, or not.  Need to buy my plane ticket b/4 prices go thru the roof.  Gas prices keep going up!

Hello all, I'm so excited about the cruise. Only 8 months away! This will be my first ever cruise and I'm counting down the days. I'm from Alabama, anyone know any tips they would like to throw my way?

Inde,  I am heading up to Seattle in May to visit my sister.  We are going over to Vancouver Island, too.  Will spend a day in Victoria then going to a place up the west coast called the Wiccannish Inn (not sure about the spelling).  It looks so cool.  You can check it out on wickinn.com.   If you are close to Seattle, maybe we can hook up the last couple of days I'm there.  I'll be spending Friday night and Sat. night with a friend right in Seattle and planing out on Sunday night.  I think the dates in Seattle are May 23rd and 24th.  If not, see you in November!

Yes, Arizona is nice in the winter months, and like you said, summer time is time for lounging next to a pool, or falling into one after a long day of work.  At least you get 8 months of nice weather, verses the Northwest weather of 9 months of rain.  Yet, it is very green up here due to all of our rain.  That is one reason why I pick November to vacation, escape to warm weather.  Plus an added bonus, traveling with wonderful womyn, whoo-hoo!!

Today going up to Seattle to hang with some friends, catch a movie, and maybe do some gettin' out an about tonite.  Should be fun.   What movies have you gals seen lately?

 In two weeks go up to Canada, Victoria Island, to visit with some friends.  Am looking forward to this lil trip.  Will take the super fast ferry to get up there, can hardly wait.  Now where did I put my passport, hum.  LOL.

I'm in the northwest valley near Surprise AZ. I don't look forward to the summer either.

I work outside all year from 50 degrees sometimes up to 120. If you have a pool to jump in after work it makes all the difference.

But this time of year everyone seems to forget about summer. The weather is almost perfect for 8 months.

Lazer tag is awesome on a day with nothing else going on, especially if your stuck in a small town. It's a great workout and loads of fun with the right friends. i'm so happy spring is here, it's to bad it only lasts like 2 months, then we get blazing hot flames. haha. so i'm going to go start working on my tan now,because i have to work all summer. oh well i'm enjoying life while i can. how's everyone else??

Florida, very nice!  Yes, great weather you have there, what part of Florida?   Weather has been teasing us up here, that is good, lets us know that Spring is coming.  One never knows  if it is going to rain or just be cloudy.  Wasn't expecting sunshine yesterday, had made plans for rain, lol.  Went to play lazer tag with some friends yesterday, it was a hoot!!  Great course and a great workout!!   Has anyone else ever played lazer tag? 

Yes, time is dragging.  Will have to just stay busy, take some short trips to break it up till the big one comes.  Looking forward to the summer, have much to do, painting, staining, planting flowers, cutting, pruning, yada, yada.  Do some river guide trips, should be a great season, rivers will be running some good water volumes.  Whoo-hoo!  May try to make it over to do the Snake river in Idaho, now that will be some fun!!

Alrighty then, off to the great outdoors.  Hope everyone is getting out and about one way or another.  Catch ya later!

Good to have you back, Inde.  So glad you are doing the countdown.  God, the time is dragging.  I can't complain too much about the winter as I live in Florida.  Although, we are supposed to get near freezing tonight, but will warm up enough tomorrow pm for me to golf.  Please don't hate me too much.  Can't wait to meet everyone!

We're holding off on making a hotel reservation until we know where the host hotel will be.  We'd like to be in it or nearby.  Sure wish this time would go faster.  Can't wait to renew old friendships and make some neat new friends.  We went to Orlando a couple of weekends ago and hooked up with a couple we met on the Mexican Riviera cruise.  It was so much fun to see them again and get to spend some time together.  One of the nicest things about these cruises is meeting all the great women that sail!
